Time to unbox the long overdue purchase from Endclothing. Again, it was a group purchase as with my meagre contribution it was impossible for me to qualify for free international shipping by Fedex.

These were what we ordered:

These were my contribution:

A black 500ml Kinto travel tumbler, crafted from stainless steel in double-walled construction. What does it simply mean is it retains both heat and cold, and will not cause any discomfort to your hands when you hold it. Also, since it is powder-coated, it prevents scratches which makes this ideal for any drink on the go:

I think I mentioned before that I have no fashion sense, and a self-proclaimed boring (nerdy) guy. Hence, with my limited knowledge I only procure Fred Perry polos.

A special collaboration between Fred Perry and Japanese label Beams for the very first time. It features a multiple Laurel Wreath logos in super oversized silhouette:

It comes with four Laurel Wreath logos:

An orange side tab with slits:

Double collar labels, product style code SM8020:

For those who have been to Japan, Beams will be no stranger to you. Starting as a small retail shop in Harajuku, Tokyo in 1976, Beams has since grown into a conglomerate lifestyle chain store in Japan.

And in case you want to know, yes, our parcel was taxed.

If I would to wrap up my year 2020 haul in one word, it will be 'fragrance'. In total I have procured 21 full bottles, a coincident figure to usher in new year 2021:

p/s: please appreciate this photo as I may lose my freedom should my Home Minister find it out. This photo was taken whilst she was away.

Happy Belated New Year guys!

Started this year 2021 with a bang by collecting something that I've always eyed but never in stock frequent enough.

Will add more photos here after the busy weekends.

user posted image

Also not forgetting my little collab End shopping with fellow friends to hit the 300 usd free shipping mark smile.gif

user posted image

It's one of the more reasonable buy so far as the prices are cheaper even after taxes.

Out of the rest, classic reissue Fred Perry seems to fit me best.

Would definitely reorder from End, turn around time is amazing unlike Cultizm, which my A.P.C. is somewhere lost in action during this busy X'mas / New Year season.

So my package from Cultizm has arrived, minus the delay and etc.

Simple packaging, 10 euros from Germany to here. (P.S. - Ignore the background)

Wrapped in a plastic as what you would find in retail, thou it matters not.

Was thinking to hem it but after watching some videos and some thinking, decided to just double cuff it.

With this out of the way, next purchase would be the Momotora GTB from Denimio and perhaps the jacket too, if I can get my sizing right.

Then it would be back to bag and accessories shopping again. Unless my wishlist on End gets discounted again, which won't happen soon.

depends on shipping, dhl/fedex will be taxed either at purchase or upon delivery items >rm500 inclusive of postage
some businesses will include 10% tax at purchase (10% tax is for apparel items)
if its national carrier postage, it will depend on luck, customs usually like to inspect large boxes and eBay items

Anyone purchased from RL official website before? How's the delivery and customs will be charging 10% for import duties (for the total item).

I planning to customs few shirts and polo tees for coming CNY , which if they are charging 10% import duties might as well i will be buying here retail in KL.

I bought Thom Browne shirt and sweat shirt before at their official website, shipping to malaysia but the import duties cost alot which makes local are much cheaper.. yikes

Anything that is over RM500 , you will be taxed, how to calculate?

The final price you paid for at RL, End, Thom Browne is just the FOB.

DHL / FEDEX - They are already confirmed RM345 fixed rate because thats how calculate your logistics even if its given FREE from these websites.

It will be your final price + DHL / FEDEX price I have just stated above + RM49 *Administration fee for using their service to pay tax on your behalf. Hence, this will be your CIF.

If you ask how did FedEx DHL arrive at RM345 without paying delivery charges on your website. It doesn't matter because whenever you use this service its automatically fixed. So let say if you purchase something below RM500.. your logistics already RM345. You are only left with RM155 leeway to spend before tax hits you.

They are using Fedex, high chance you'd get taxed.

A 10% margin is a pretty safe amount to factor in, when you buying.

Nah it depends. Custom tax is a hit and miss thing. Unlike GST era, you'll definitely be hit with 6%

My recent End haul with DHL is about 300+, while my previous Roja Parfum's with FedEx tax is higher than MYR 345 as the item values are close to 10k.

I would reckon a 10% ~ 15% of total value is a safe bet. And admin free is MYR 53 as usual, either for Feddie or DHL.

I also gotten a piece of jeans from Denimio using DHL but not taxed surprsingly.

The K1 forms has all the info, thou sometimes, it's really hard to understand what's the content.

For RL, either End or Ship it to a US address / forwarder and re route it locally. Cheaper still. Retail pricing for RL is meh in Malaysia.

Side detour from the usual fashion goods shopping.

Still pending a couple parcels from overseas, MCO shopping went haywire.

Due to the 50% lush sales, everyone was busy attacking their website for discounted items.

Thou the sales is still ongoing, most stuffs are either out of stock and the website has gone down repeatedly since then.

To note, their website is horrible. Customer service was almost non existent. Shipping was slow, but arrived eventually.

Items that are out of stocks are not removed from the site. So after purchasing, they will send an email to apologize and randomly replace your item as compensation.

Packaging when arrival was bad. Can see how bad it was dented from 1st photo.

4 body soaps, 2 shower gels and 1 shampoo soap as replacement as my item were OOS.

Disclaimer : Don't get the gourmand soaps, they feel so squashable compared to the regular ones.

Up close photo of the "free" replacement.
