Yup, I am. TBH I think UK is cheaper generally and best when there's offers. They are much cheaper compared to EU if you know where to look and for tourist you get tax back which makes it even better. It is definitely cheaper than Asia if you're saying branded goods. For example, a Paul Smith socks would be around £18 here but I've seen HK and Bangkok selling it for around £30? And if you timed it for sales, you can get a pair for about £9 - £12. Black Friday and Boxing Day sale are pretty good with offers from 30% to 50% off.

Apparently the total taxes paid by Mr Porter to DHL Malaysia is cheaper than what they charge me but the differences is less than RM 10.00......

I believe many of you have heard of how chaotic and idiotic scalpers can be during the release of Uniqlo x Kaws final collection in June, and re-release 2 weeks ago. I didn't manage to secure any piece as Uniqlo's online store basically was having erection dysfunction, and the staff there were part of the cartel by allowing scalpers to purchase in container, although there was a one-piece-per-customer policy during the re-release but that was for show only.

I was lucky enough to have someone who bought the wrong size and was willing to let it go at cost price, and the design happened to be my favourite - the anatomy.



To Uniqlo - shame on you!!

I gave up after failing to proceed for payment.

Oh well, it wasn't the end of the world but it portrayed the weakness and incapability of an organisation.

depends on shipping, dhl/fedex will be taxed either at purchase or upon delivery items >rm500 inclusive of postage
some businesses will include 10% tax at purchase (10% tax is for apparel items)
if its national carrier postage, it will depend on luck, customs usually like to inspect large boxes and eBay items
