eh u do know right u shoudnt backup ure bios using gpuz..
its a bin format. and the first few asci key is different from rom format. so changing it to rom and flashing with nvflash is risky also if theres a extra bit on the mem timing.. gpuz wont read it. backup using nvflash. pretty easy nvflash -b backup.rom if u have more than one card -i0 for first pcie -i1 for second etc |

thats easy
the clockgen on the nvidia card core increases every 27 ( sometimes certain interval every 13-14) shader increases every 54 |

QUOTE(ToddStarz @ Apr 29 2009, 02:31 PM) technically u shouldnt push them more than 80-85C.also the temp sensors themselves are not accurate. so hard to judge. phase . the more phase u use the less stress u have but u will loose in current flow. higher frequency will get better more accurate current. and will even lessen the temp. |

furmark wasnt meant for commercial gc
its just to test loads on gpu power it doesnt test artifacts or overclocking stability |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Apr 29 2009, 05:45 PM) if u really want to test ure oc1. leave ure fan at stock fan speed aka 40% 2.run ati tool for 15 mins. and make sure u change the artifact scanning to the lowest setting so 3. watch the screen for any single dots 4. if the above pass then do this run for 1 min. stop run for 2 mins stop run for 3 mins stop run for 4 mins stop 5. if pass try 3dmark06 sm3 in 10 times loop. if pass u can now flash ure bios and even sell ure gc at that speed u set also always set core/shader/mem speed at the right increment. not inbetween. this will confuse ure clock generator and hence instability. also hint hint try to maintain original ratio of the core to shade and have a even increment of all of them. check the result and compare to some ppl here who is running faster than this stock palit dual sonic is exactly 10% increment from stock ref card. example for friend rig that i tested. soon to be bios flashed as it pass the above requirement. gtx260 palit 675/1174/1456 18 percent increment from stock nvidia ref card for core/shader/mem. ![]() even before i increased the overclock i knew the gc will hit at 10800 just by percentage. 3dmark Vantage is very accurate if u increase all by say another 10 percent u will get 10 percent increment in gc scores. try it ppl. well the new drivers gives a boost about 300-400 points on 3dmark gpu..
but u guys still dont get it.. ure clockings are bad ure 3dmark vantage increament should be same as ure overall percentage increment on ure clocking. this is how nvidia card works for high scores. |

![]() 24/7 3k with default mem timing 2.8k with tighter mem timing voltage vgpu at 1.15 and mem at 2.07 max is 1.2 2.15 but the matrix stock cooler cant handle it.. sorry i have a 24 only atm and it doesnt support 1280x1024 so all 1920x1200 gpu clocks were tested with OCCT gpu at 2 hours, furmark 30 mins and ati tool lowest setting for artifact scan for 4 hours This post has been edited by cstkl1: Aug 19 2009, 11:47 PM |

hint hint bryan
check ure facts on Y they claimed military parts.. before commenting hint hint its not because of the looks or the overclocking drive bay unit. Added on August 20, 2009, 1:34 amedit Hi-c CAP & Tantalum This post has been edited by cstkl1: Aug 20 2009, 01:34 AM |
