it is a paper/card. in the card, they'll give u a situation (title maybe A Sporting Chance/Education Policy/Etc.)
what's the background, problem, solutions, recommendation. From there, u must understand what is it all about.
when u go into the room, after u introduced ur'self, the interviewer will mainly asked u about the card/paper they'd
gave earlier.

omg! wat a new form of interviewing. So basicly, after receiving the card we will be given 30mins to get ready? Man it sure kinda troublesome, btw, h3lmi would u mind sharing ur answer maybe we can adept abit lol

u'll b given a situation..read it carefully.. u are given guideline on how to solve the problem, just follow it!! basically it's about how well u use your brain in explaining them to the panels..

no need bunga2.. talk ur mind!

give some examples if possible... do not reka2!!

if u still dun understand.. wait for ur interview n see 4 urself

but helmi forgot to mention there is question from form 5.
study electricity. there are a few electricity question. simple. but better brush up.

my tip: skip every difficult questions u see....come back to the difficult question after u have done the easy 1 .the time is hardly enough to cover all questions

for the english, i even ignore the last 5 questions ( the paragraphs was fooking long)

chilllax ...the entrance test was quite hard but the passing mark is LOW.
I thought I would fail the test.

for the interview, they will give u a current issue situation then u have to spot the root problems and solutions ...

the rest is unknown, the decision isnt on our hand then


btw, after attending Politeknik's marine engineering intake interview and then ALAM's one ...

the only different I saw was, ALAM does very well in advertising...very profit-oriented, didnt mention about the cons of being seafarer specifically.
for Nautical studies, i think ALAM is better, because ALAM has a advanced deck simulator, Politek doesnt offer Nautical studies anyway. and no entrance test though(however i heard only 25% are shortlisted to attend the interview)..about the marine engineering, i think both wouldn't be much different except the politek ones would have lesser physical training.
not to mention, politek has no contract/bond like ALAM.

and ALAM has fooking many candidates, cb, my batch has around 40+ out of 70+ succeeded to attend the interview session. politek has only 30+- per batch ...but they were doing the interview sessions simultaneously ..including ipoh, melaka, sabah etc all together has 6 interviewing places..in same day
politek is gonna take 40 candidates per year ...very less if compare to ALAM

about the certs value etc, i think politek and ALAM are same, both mentioned the same things .

is it ALAM ? or politek ?

the course u might attend will be few months later after the 1st batch started

really???did u get later interview too when u were still interview ago?

i did not see any AET sponsors there. maybe ALAM recruit them. but misc was there to recruit themself.

what sponsor else there to recruit?
