this is what i read frm the agreement they sent me.. 10 years after your 1st CoC.. not class 1 CoC.. 1st CoC..

went to ALAM melaka today.
bloody hell. took me about about almost 2 hours just to find the place.
and its at the border of N.9 and Melaka.
hahah.
seriously, the moment i stepped in to the ground of ALAM.
the feeling you get, it's jst priceless.
hahahahaha!
ermm... so i talked to a guy called Hairul Nizam.
he saw my results and he was like okayy. as long as you got 5 credits,
you're MOST probably in. then he said he'll pass my application and results
to the management and they'll gimme a call within a week.
after that, you gottaa sit for an Entrance test and if u pass, medical check-up.

He said the total course fee is RM70k:
-tuition fee
-accomodation
-food!
-modular
-and also, monthly allowance of rm200.
ahhaa. it practically covers everything laa.
and you can pay Semester by semester.
huhu.

and and!
there is 2 inductions this year
huhuh. so just chill la.
if u didnt get the 1st one, most probably you're in for the next one.

first i called last week monday, i asked for the registry,
so they connected my line there, then i asked tht i wanna register for DNS.
she said must talk to Hairul Nizam. then she say he's not in.
okay...
then friday i called again. same thing. she said Hairul Nizam not in.
i was like okayy...
then today i called again. same shit she's telling me.
WTF! then when i went there straight.
he was bloody hell there wei. wtf wei, seriously.
luckily i went there. if not, next year only i'll get to register.
zzzz.
so if u guys really wanna check things out.
i suggest u go to alam straight wei.
trust me. if u can go, just go wei.
dnt waste ur time callin.

if u mean like eyesight and all, it still counts wei.
dns cannot wear glasses and dme can.

· Good eyesight without visual aid for Navigating Officer Cadets
· Visual aid with a limitation of 200 for Marine Engineering Officer Cadets

i think the contract is 5years after 1st class COC. but it depends. it varies from sponsor. different sponsor, different contract.

for DNS, i think u cannot wear glasses. but for DME, no problemo.
