anyone tried with maxis 3G sim card?...looks like mine is not working...

insert SIM and signal bar show 1 bar with no "MY MAXIS" or sometimes "NO SERVICE"

tried all the tricks...but still no avail...

1) reinstall cydia
2) reinsert SIM
3) wait for solid 1 min b4 injecting SIM
4) reboot
5) Airplane ON and OFF

any other tricks? BTW i'm using yellowsn0w 0.9.1

seem like d soft unlock is not stable......give d dev team sometime to tweak it.....

Iv tried all the waiting, reinserting sims, reinstalling yellowsn0w and toggling the plane mode but it doesnt seem to work for me....

those with 0.90 can unlock easier.. but Dev Team says it has problem..
i tried 0.90 and 0.91.. 0.90 is better for me..

well for 0.91..

1. install yellowsn0w,
1. with ur sim card in the phone, restart ur phone (off then on again)
2. after ur phone restart, wait for AT LEAST 1 minute at ur HOMESCREEN
3. eject your sim card AND WAIT FOR AT LEAST 10 seconds before you reinsert the card
4. reinsert ur sim card... duh..
5. Wait for ~10 seconds (if cant work, on and off Airplane mod.. i didnt do this tho)

at first it cant work for me after i upgrade to 0.91, but with the method above.. it works..
but i wont chop off my d*** for this time..

mine works after using installer. not working if using cydia.
hope this help for digi fellow.

1. remove yellowsn0w on cydia.
2. reinstalled yellowsn0w using installer.
3. reboot with digi sim + turbo sim inserted.
4. waited till 1 minute.
5. remove both digi sim + turbo sim
6. reinsert back only digi sim.
7. wait for awhile.
8. gedeboom network digi appear.

tried call in and out works. sms also works.
but still in beta. dont know how long i can get network yet.

keep waiting dev team updates to final version.

The good thing about this unlock is that it brings the price of the iPhone 3G down. DevTeam's effort should be applauded. It actually works, although with plenty of bugs. But given time, it should stabilize. It's way better than other type of unlocks.

near future, the i3g would be the next to iphone(1st gen.) to be fully unlock
i do hope this can be done so i can opt another iphone, to be precise, i3g with cheaper price
