Hello guys, I just bought a new iPod Touch 2nd gen recently. I put some songs into my iPod but when I play the songs in my iPod Touch, it doesnt show the picture of the album but instead a plain page only. What should I do? Thank you in advance.
*
By right, the best way is to upload the album artwork manually into the particular song that is on iTunes...

For me, when i've downloaded a song, I will then get that song's artwork from sources such as Wikipedia or Google Images and then save the file into a folder in Pictures... I will then right-click the song and then select the "Get Info"... From the song's pop-up box, select the "Artwork" tab and then press on the "Add" button... Go over to the file where u saved the song's artwork and after selection, voila, the artwork will appear together with the song in iTunes...

Its actually quite mafan but that's what i've been doing for several hundred songs already! laugh.gif thumbup.gif

Wah lau, u really have so many songs... Nearly 3-times my current number of songs! ohmy.gif

Hmmm, for ur case, i'm not sure how to go about... Even for the 700+ songs in my playlist, i took a year-plus to compile the artworks for my songs (now only around half have artworks, btw)! laugh.gif

How does that Bodyguardz look like, just to ask? Must be quite durable, if it's so expensive?

I don't think that's possible, mate... That's as far as i know, from my experience with the iPod touch since October last year! thumbup.gif

Hmmm, where were u accessing those hotspots? If its Starbucks, u can select Timezone but u are required to enter a user ID and password once a Timezone page loads upon activating Safari...

Timezone is FOC... You can register for one at any Starbucks Coffee outlet... Once you access the Timezone login page via Safari or IE, just follow the steps for registering and account and upon completion, you can then surf the net already! thumbup.gif

Any good apps available in iTunes for the upcoming F1 season?

In 2008, when i was still using a Palm, there were many of these F1 apps and I'm hoping that iTunes has a similar number available... I'm willing to even go for those shareware apps, btw! thumbup.gif

Yea, i am also thinking whether or not to buy the ACPP for my iPod touch. Does it really worths it? you see when i bought it the price was Rm1500,and less than half year the price is definitely less than Rm900 ady i guess. Another half year. Haha, Rm500 may be? and the ACPP alone is Rm1xx ady. Better buy new one isn't it  laugh.gif

Same here... My touch still has a long way to go before the warranty runs out this coming October... In the meantime, I'm thinking of whether to go for the ACPP for its added protection for another year... biggrin.gif

Darn, that Coolcase that I slipped on my iPod touch has now left loads of small white spots on the rear of the unit... I actually used the notebook LCD cleaner to wipe the behind and it got rid of all the smudges as well as fingerprints but unfortunately the spots remain... Is there any way to get rid of this irritating stain?

Anyway, I should be ditching the Coolcase and getting a plastic casing instead... smile.gif

Cheesecake, you can check the Garage Sales for offers on used iPod touch... From there, u should be able to get a better understanding of the market prices... smile.gif

xsara, use the free Facebook application on the app store. It's much better.

That Facebook app is very handy to update ur Home page or even add photos but the rotten thing is that it crashed my iPod big-time... And not once, but at least three times!

Because of that, I deleted it permanently and only access Facebook via Safari (for now though, if the developers can rectify this issue, I'll have no qualms about reinstalling Facebook once again)...

Yup, the iPod touch is shipped with OS 2.1.1... But like what chingwooi said, the latest upgrade is payware and it's OS 3.0, with official launch sometime this month (if the guys at the IPTF are correct)...

That was precisely the problem with the shipment of the 2G iPod touch last year... It was officially launched in the US in September but due to delays in getting Customs and SIRIM approval, the touch was only released in Malaysia the following month...

So it's a matter of playing the waiting game... If u are willing to hold ur purchase at least until September, then u should be able to get a newer and more feature-packed iPod touch... smile.gif

Can we in Malaysia start to purchase the OS 3.0? Just now, when I clicked on the "Update Now" button in Apple's website, the iTunes that opened mentioned that this update is still unavailable in Malaysia... ??

Guys, the OS 3.0 is still not available in the Malaysian iTunes Store... Looks like we'll need to wait until later today to be sure... sad.gif

Wow, u guys actually waited until 0300 hrs for the update to be available? Heck, it's already 0745 hrs now and still, the 3.0 OS is still n/a in the Malaysian Store... sad.gif

Anyway, let's be thankful that we did not get the 3.0 update at the same time as folks in the US... In the IPTF, I see all sorts of ppl having problems with their firmware update, e.g. "backing up iPod touch taking 5 hours" ohmy.gif, bug-plagued firmware, and even the App Store crashed due to heavy downloads!

Yeah, that icon is already up on the Malaysian Store but dunno y still cannot download... sad.gif

The other option is to get a Citibank credit card and make the purchase at the US Store... I have a "no-credit-card" account with the US Store anyday, lol! biggrin.gif

Must be... Otherwise why would Apple change the T&C for their App Store just like that...

And has any1 managed to purchase the OS 3.0 from the Malaysian Store already?
