I'm speaking to Apple Malaysia as we type... Waiting for their response about the 3.0 issue...

Well, the ppl at Apple Malaysia were friendly and helpful... The lady who spoke to me also told me that she just noticed the same problem at the iTunes Store... Even when I did the update link via Apple.com, the Malaysia iTunes released a pop-up showing that the item is not available...

No choice then, looks like we'll still have to wait a short while longer... Hey, even Singapore can have their update purchase already, so why is Malaysia still facing problems?

Yup, the lady I spoke to (Ms. Jeannie) mentioned that she will speak to the PIC about this problem... In fact, even Indonesia iTunes has the same issue with ours, how come like that?

So unlucky for iPod touch users in Malaysia and Indonesia... Both iTunes Stores have somehow seen the 3.0 Update icon disappear just like that!

yeh_chiam, how did you make the purchase from Singapore iTunes, particularly the credit card?

And is the firmware doing fine for you? I.e. no bugs, delayed installation, problems with features etc...

If u checked several pages back, there is mention of a delay in availability of the 3.0 firmware in the Malaysian iTunes Store... Apparently Israel and Indonesia are also facing the same problem as well...

Nope, no news from Apple themselves... Dunno y we in Malaysia are having such problems with getting the 3.0 firmware...
