men bb cream generally darker n dun cover as well as women's. also men wan usually will boast an oil control function. but as long as d shade suit u i think no prob using women's bb cream. stay away fr those type with glitter or pink tinge.

i have used Skin79 Homme bb b4 n it really sucked. shiny, sticky n no coverage.

i think a few months ago in this thread someone posted a lot of info bout men bb cream. try searching a few pages bak.

Face Shop, many in malls, 30% off now. Free tester for both regular and men's. (I have no connection with them.)

You might want a cheap ladies one just because of thicker colour cover over smaller spots or to mix with men's.

You guys need to look up dermarollers for skin regeneration/scars. Cheap and effective but it stings to use at first. Beats the hell out of any topical product I've tried.

Those who advocate Dermaroller, my concerns/impression/ please correct if mistaken: it makes pinprick holes in your skin with lots of tiny needles on the roller? Is this a legal surgical procedure, maybe not sterile?

It's far from a surgical procedure. Of course you would be responsible for keeping your roller sterile with alcohol. It's basically a more extreme version of exfoliation but I wouldn't do it if you have an active outbreak.

How effective is BB cream as a sunblock? (Face Shop Homme SPF 20 PA++ )

I use only one or two pea sized dabs for my whole face, feels very light. Then must walk outside and bake in the noon day sun's heat for typically 10-15 minutes.

pretty low UVA n UVB protection. wont be sufficient for use in Malaysia. the amount u using is insufficient too. min is 1/4 teaspoon for face. perhaps a bb cream with higher SPF n PA rating would be better. but i will always use a SPF50+ PA+++ sunscreen even if d bb cream im using offers sun protection.

Thanks Jonny4. BTW, my problem skin area seemed to respond well to an old sample of Clinique Turnaround but there was little left of it. Is there a less expensive product that does the same?

Homme Aqua is for dry skin. Just get a simple gentle cleanser, a cleanser is just a cleanser. It's just to cleanse your face from grime, oil and dirt.
You should try have a look at Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Cleanser.

Thanks. I should try Watson at bigger department stores like 1U.

Another question, what to do with peeling raw red skin around the nose. Cetaphil Ultra Hydrating Lotion for very dry skin isn't working even applied daily.

And another. Recommendation for sunscreen that is easy to wash off. Using Biore Face Milk, but Cetaphil is resistant I think. Can feel it still on my skin after cleansing most of the time. Found: Avene Optimale Hydrance SPF25 any good?
