when it comes to shades, im definitely against all these brands such as topman/zara/esprit/vincci.. i've seen vincci's sunglasses, their no better than other low-quality sunglasses..

Zerox is not bad, I just bought one polarized RM160 after discount, it's quite curve so it can cover more and the design is trendy and makes you look cool

hmm well i dont believe there's such a thing called "best", it is all about one's opinion and the features and qualities he/she is looking for in a brand..

yeah i think these brands would provide adequate UV protection, the main concern are mostly from fakes..

the reflective coating had peeled off considerably...

changing the lens would cost more or less rm200 according to the shop -.-"

anywhere u know that sells cheap original lenses?

btw, i don't see much ppl here using sports-specific glasses here?

i think the purpose of wearing sunglasses is to be used during mid day, especially when driving.....

i would agree with sevenwatch's opinion of the shop in pertama complex, ive been there myself, the salesman is very nice, always asking customers to try, "kalo tak try tak tau, plus no charge", haha, damn funny, n if it doesnt suit you, there are thousands of others to be tried...

but i have a question too, what bout our face shape, is there any advice bout the shape of our face n the shape of the shades itself???imho, not all shades shape suits our face shape..

well although brands like adidas and nike do create sunglasses which are adequate in providing UV protection, they are also not quality brand sunglasses makers.. as u can see from the pictures nightstalker has provided.. these brands are the best in sportswear no doubt, but they branch out their brand into eyewear simply to attract their customers to buy their sunglasses.. they are not at all serious sunglasses producers.. why dont u go for oakleys? =)

tag heuer makes good sunglasses, but they are in no way formal, they are very very sporty.. and their price is about RM600 and up..

yeah those brands are ok, but as u can see from the earlier post by nightstalker on his adidas, they are not gonna last long, probably 2-3 years?
if u really want something that will last and give full protection to your eyes without you putting a hole in your pocket, go for rayban.. it will cost you about RM400 for an aviator or wayfarer - those are the iconic rayban sunglasses.. trust me they will last..

and yes not all shades are polarized, polarized will usually cost about an extra RM200.. in short polarized is where the lenses reduce the glare therefore you have a more "natural" view.. go to http://www.allaboutvision.com/sunglasses/polarized.htm if u wanna know more..

oakleys are overkill for me...

i'm short sighted, so with the Adidas all i have to do is get the prescription inserts, but if i get Oakleys, i'd have to custom make the lens just for it...

the Adi is good in terms of sturdiness and design, but only thing is that the lens aren't really that resistant to scratches...

maybe its just that i'm a pretty rough user hmm.gif
