QUOTE(jind86 @ Jan 1 2009, 03:19 PM) yeah those brands are ok, but as u can see from the earlier post by nightstalker on his adidas, they are not gonna last long, probably 2-3 years? ok thx i will check out the website.i seldom see optical shops carry adidas or nike shades wanif u really want something that will last and give full protection to your eyes without you putting a hole in your pocket, go for rayban.. it will cost you about RM400 for an aviator or wayfarer - those are the iconic rayban sunglasses.. trust me they will last.. and yes not all shades are polarized, polarized will usually cost about an extra RM200.. in short polarized is where the lenses reduce the glare therefore you have a more "natural" view.. go to http://www.allaboutvision.com/sunglasses/polarized.htm if u wanna know more.. QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Jan 1 2009, 10:05 PM) oakleys are overkill for me... yeah i need prescriptioon lenses too =) do you drop your Adi shades alot, what kinda treatment you give them till they get so worn out?i'm short sighted, so with the Adidas all i have to do is get the prescription inserts, but if i get Oakleys, i'd have to custom make the lens just for it... the Adi is good in terms of sturdiness and design, but only thing is that the lens aren't really that resistant to scratches... maybe its just that i'm a pretty rough user |
