Cool, is he selling original ones? Ok, let me rephrase that. Does he offer warranty from Oakley Malaysia?
Oakley Crosshair is still available, just that their not produced anymore. Check out Oakley Inmate, Felon, and Warden! That's for Oakleys.. then there's Emporio Armani's 9368s. Actually, most brands have their own aviator ranges.. it's only up to your budget.. what's your budget?
PM me the details and we'll discuss there! smile.gif

Thanks for the rephrase..
warranty? hmm...
Looking at his sales volumes..he must be doing sumting rite laugh.gif
n besides..judging also frm the comments left on his thread..he seems to b n excellent seller?
i wud conclude he could be offering something way better then the "warranty frm Oakley M'Sia"

o ya..if its nt to much..
would you care too shed some light on what the warranty covers? thanks notworthy.gif
buyers then may be made aware of the great benefits of the warranty..
it will also allow buyers to have a better understanding of what they are paying for nod.gif

and another thing, if an order is made directly frm the Okaley website, is there warranty?

He's been here for awhile, and have lots of sales.. so it's good smile.gif The prices are cheaper, so that's why people neglect the warranty part. But if you think long term, or even just think, there's huge benefits of getting a pair with warranty.

There's a whole long list of benefits getting a pair with warranty, starting with the very fact that your Oakley would be 100% original, undoubtedly. Next, you'll be able to get parts replaced when it's broken or spoilt, and you can keep doing this for a long long long time. The new policy states 1 year, but even after a year you still can get the broken parts fixed, just with a small amount of extra service fee (Rm50-100+) which is definitely less than how much a new pair cost. This small service fee is just to DETER people who misuse their lifetime warranty. The list goes on and if you think about it, it's like "insurance" for your shades, which is so crutial especially if it's expensive or around Rm1000. That's because if you break a pair which is around Rm1000 without warranty, the money is GONE... whereas if you have warranty, just have to change a new pair by claiming from the warranty! smile.gif

Of course they say you cannot claim for accidental damage, but if you go through the right people, it SURELY can be changed easily, not a problem at all! There's a huge list of benefits buying with warranty, but the important ones are above and I dont want to make this reply too long.. smile.gif

Regarding orders directly from Oakley's Website, they only deliver it to people in USA and it comes with their USA warranty. People OUTSIDE USA cannot order/receive Oakley from the website, they have to get it from authorized distributors! smile.gif
Try getting non-curved frames.. you definitely can make power shades with them! smile.gif It's only because the curve of the shades that prevents you from getting powered shades because it'll get too thick! smile.gif
*
Receiving straight from the US = guranteed ori but no warranty so..in actual fact without warranty still ori

So with warranty, I can get a brand new pair when I've spoilt mine with an extra RM50+ RM100+?

Who are the rite people? hmm.gif will YOU always be here?

To warranty or nt hmm.gif
No warranty but GURANTEED ori = at least 50% discount frm M'sian retail price
Warranty = Expensive price + MUST add a little more to change spoilt parts + MUST find the RIGHT person

what shall a buyer do?

well i got it at almost supplier's price but shall not reveal it as not to spoil the market..  biggrin.gif

all da best for ya sales anyway!

Warranty is nt everything if you have GREAT price laugh.gif
More often then nt the word "warranty" is just used as a leverage for sellers to jack their prices up tongue.gif
Buyers realli realli need to becareful

QUOTE(Fireball9 @ Jan 16 2009, 12:28 AM)
Do remember that you cannot order directly from USA to be delivered to Malaysia or anywhere outside Malaysia. There's only 1 company which is the official districutor, and that's Oakley Malaysia (Revelstoke). So yup, if you're getting it from USA then guarantee original, but do you know that there's so many fakes out there that looks original? Give you a pair you'll surely think it's original! tongue.gif Check out lelong.com... they look awesome, but check the price and then you'll realise. What i'm trying to say is.. get from Oakley Malaysia = 100% original smile.gif

Yup, you're right.. with warranty you can do so.

50% discount frm Malaysian retail is excessive... check properly, it's definitely not smile.gif

No need to find the right person for follow up (although you still can come back to me). WHY?

1. Because I'm just giving you a good price
2. Warranty is not given by me, but by Oakley Malaysia.

Therefore, you can go back straight to Oakley Malaysia because the warranty card can be used to claim directly from them. Clearly you havent bought an original Oakley tongue.gif Then you'll ask, will Oakley Malaysia always be here? haha...
Yes, totally agree with that. How sad.. Luckily some people realise it and get good stuff to protect their eyes! smile.gif
*
Erm..you should realli check the prices of you competitors

O ya..50% is excessive..
Retail is RM600+ ..I gt it for 49.9% cheaper..mebbe say erm 48% cheaper
The oni difference..warranty card unfilled
Whatever is in the box as per you buy outside..i had it too

N besides..if ur worried take the whole thing for a check..
i m sure u can recommend a place rite

QUOTE(Fireball9 @ Jan 16 2009, 01:22 AM)
Well said!  rclxms.gif

That's why Oakley came out with that service charge! It's because people misuse their lifetime warranty service and purposely break their sunglasses! How sad...
*
Hence why bother with the warranty?

QUOTE(Fireball9 @ Jan 16 2009, 11:52 PM)
Yup, such a waste. However, if you accidently break it, you can always claim a new pair from Oakley! smile.gif
*
We can claim a new pair?
So I break mine..
All I have to do is pay a little service charge and claim warranty?

Buyers..must do...research

I see I see nod.gif

but considering the trouble to claim the warranty..considering that it doesn't really cover lots..considering that it is way cheaper without warranty..AND considering we are sure to take care of our sunnies..

the price my "source" provides is way way TOO DELICIOUS TO RESIST laugh.gif as per what 2kia said..

n again if authencity is an issue there would "bombing" in the seller's thread and it wouldn't b an issue to verify the sunnies authencity at any retail outlet or OAKLEY malaysia(if there is such a place) laugh.gif

Price vs Warranty hmm.gif

Me would still stick to oakleys..
eg. designs like its inmate, felon, crosshair for the casual aviator look biggrin.gif

why go for brand names like "burberry" and such?
why not go for brands which specialize in glasses?
