QUOTE(jonny4 @ Jan 18 2010, 08:21 PM) Hugo Boss never makes anything unique...they are just looking for a quick buck by releasing perfumes that are generic and smells like every other clone in the market...and for that price I can get many other perfumes that have some character. Dunhill Light ? Does it have a more specific name ? Hmmm, any suggestion for a unique smells? Btw, my Dunhill Light stands for the ciggy hehe. Thats the only smell I carry.

But not all Versace counters have The Dreamer. A few guys on LYN have reported seeing Dreamer at Robinsons, so u can try it there. I think you might be able to get Dreamer a little cheaper at place like Just Parfum but that depends on whether they carry Dreamer. I think Dreamer is versatile enough for any age group but it still depends on individual preference. So u need to go try it on skin to really know. Dreamer is not a light perfume by any means but it certainly is not a heavy either to me. This post has been edited by jonny4: Jan 19 2010, 10:08 AM

QUOTE(Allen88 @ Jan 19 2010, 02:42 PM) Any comment on Gucci by Gucci Cologne for Men jonny4? Its pleasant and somewhat fruity but real boring IMO...I am still questioning my decision to buy this perfume. If u really like it I won't mind selling my 50ml bottle to you. Added on January 19, 2010, 3:10 pmQUOTE(kagami82 @ Jan 19 2010, 03:00 PM) hey jonny..i came across burberry the beat, the smell is kinda nice though..but still hahaha...as what the guys ays you are the sifu here so would like to hear your opinion on it =) I don't like The Beat because of the pepper. It really ruined my sense of smell for a few hours when I tested the Beat. I couldn't wait to go home to wash it off my arm. But I must try it again to be fair. Most important thing is to follow your nose. If u like it get it. That's how I do it..the only thing I need to double check is how long a perfume lasts on skin and how the sillage is like. I find it a waste of money to spend RM200+ on something that lasts 3-4 hours and so weak that no one around me can smell. This post has been edited by jonny4: Jan 19 2010, 03:10 PM

I've got a few samples of Mousson but I never liked it because it smells too fruity and aquatic for my taste. I don't feel it justifies the RM300+ price tag. But my gf likes it though. Nil to me smells like a watered down version of the famous Terre d'Hermes haha. I hope u don't take offence as I am no means criticizing your purchases or taste..just my 2 cents. If I had an infinite amount of money I would buy every frag released by Hermes I visite the Hermes KLCC boutique a month ago and I think i saw a few from the Hermessence line but I can't remember which ones. I tried Rose Ikebana and yes it nice but once again doesn't justify the price at all. Too light for something at that price. My favourites from Hermes are Rocabar, Terre d'Hermes, Bel Ami, Hiris and Concentrée D'Orange Verte/Eau D'Orange Verte. What are your favs fr Hermes ? I love Concentrée D'Orange Verte too. I got 2 samples of it. Thinking to get it when I finished the sample. Hehe...no worries Most importantly is I bought it because I love it, price higher a bit ok la, once in a while only buy (excuse to myself haha).

Good to hear man I spotted a Concentee D'Orange Verte gift set (50ml edt+matching bar soap) for RM230 at Isetan Gardens. I think there are a few more gift sets comprising of a toiletry bag, 50ml edt and bar soap for RM230 at Parkson KLCC and Pavilion. You could have a look at them if u interested in getting Concentree.

This one is one of the most long lasting aquatics I know of. However, I can't really stand the sweet floral drydown but it's a well made perfume that beats a lot of the newer stuff. Gucci Pour Homme II - A slightly woody cinnamon and tea dominant perfume that is fresh and light and has a unique smell to it. Longevity is average and is quite subtle too. This will be a good office scent. A good versatile frag that is great for both casual and formal events. Sean John Unforgivable - A rather common fresh citrus frag with a touch of woods. Very predictable and rather boring. Unforgivable is slightly better than the rest in its genre. Nothing to shout about but would be another pleasant scent suitable for the office. Don't expect to stand out when wearing Unforgivable. My favourite among the 3 would be Gucci Pour Homme II. It's quite decently priced too and the design of the bottle is really nice and bloody heavy too..you could literally kill someone with that bottle.

I bought my 50ml bottle for RM180+ iirc. So a 100ml should be around RM250-270. U can get it cheaper at Just Parfum and Perfume Jewel. Around RM20-30 cheaper but no free gifts (samples).
