they are not oil based. so wont last long compared to edt. axe spray may smell nice but they are too harsh.

Thanks guy, I begin to learn new things here n didn't heard of those branded one above. Aquatic perfume is water based is it? I just try davidoff cool water today in Tangs. The smell does not last n not my liking. Will try again.

All frags have water as one of the main ingredients...but what gives the frag the particular scent are the various chemicals (natural n synthetic). Some of these chemicals are in oil form. Whether the frag is woody or aquatic it can't be called water based. This is a very simple explanation...do a google search on the chemistry involved in perfumery.

Yea I agree Cool Water is rather short lasting. but try no to judge a frag based on the top notes. the main reason a lot of ppl complain about longevity is coz they get fooled by the top notes. It's the alcohol that makes it so intense. So wait for an hour den decide whether u like the frag or not.

i might try euphoria . looks like got two version. one is intense and the price is RM227 for 50ml

both r average...regular euphoria has dismal longevity n sillage but IMHO it smells really good. Euphoria Intense is too sweet but silage n longevity is good.

im quite sad really that most Thierry Mugler counters has only A*men in their homme range...

Some counters have Ice Men, B*Men, Pure Malt n Pure Coffee. Or just ask the SA coz they might not display the frags but the testers might still be available (eg Mugler Cologne).

i went to sogo, isetan klcc, and pavilion parkson...none had those...too bad coz i love iceman...the thing i like about TM is their sillage and longevity and u dont know whats to come once u start spra ying it...who knows the cloying nose-poking top notes can settle down into a nice distinctive smell...

btw, have u known of the brand called charrol...its sold in sogo, together with loewe , banana republic, etc...its got some nice smell...?

there is bond no.9 tester vials selling in lucky plaza ,singapore, i think it was selling for sgd9 for a few bottles of 1ml vials, once i re-visit there will tell you what they have there...

Where can compare lidat la fren. apples n oranges. all depends on which frag u like. i like Code but i don't find it better than AdG or Beat as all 3 r different type of frags.
