Eau de Toilette contains between 5%-15% aromatic oils. Most male fragrances come in EDT concentration.

Eau de Parfum contains between 10%-20% aromatic oils. Some female fragrances come in both EDT and EDP.

but an EDP version of a perfume may smell totally different from the EDT. in some instances, the EDP actually smells weaker than the EDT.

Yeah EDP smells totally different from EDT, but I thought EDP smells stronger compared to edt cause they're more concentrate.

currently using CK Free. it is about RM230 for 100ml.

it actually quite depends on age. CK is more for teenagers of age 20+.

if u're around or close to 30, u can try giorgio armani.

Since when a person age 20+ is considered a teenager ? LOL

so CK for teens and Giorgio Armani for "adults" ? LOL...I like CK One and i am in my mid 20s...so am I a childish adult or a matured teenager ? LOL

How about brands like Aramis, YSL and Davidoff ? Do they have a specific age group or something ? enlighten me pls.

Polo frags are not known to be long lasting despite the high price. However fresh frags like Polo Sport do burn out quicker compared to other types of frags. I am sure 1 Million lasts quite long on u...

some EDPs have more oils, therefore it will blend with your body's natural oils which means less sillage.

this is why some people say 'close to the skin', its a way of saying that the perfumes are not strong but they are there, meant only for those close to them to smell.

There is no one way to summarize differences between EDP and EDT. It varies from fragrance to fragrance most of the time. I have tried EDPs that are close to the skin and EDTs that are stronger than most EDPs. However I tend to agree that most EDPs have a richer more interesting development compared to the EDT version of the same fragrance. Do take time to test both EDT and EDP and decide which smell suites you the best.

best way is to test both the EDT and the EDP because EDP will smell different on every person as it blends in with your body. EDT however is much sharper and tends to smell more consistent.

some EDPs would last longer on certain people, some weaker so there is no summary...u will need to test both on your skin....NOT on paper
