well.. up to u man..

I'm just sayin.. the stuff tht they teach u are probably basic anyway.. stuff which you can get by educating yourself. And you ARE paying for it.. as you said, 150usd.. the free siminar is probably sweet rosy talk to reel you into participating in the classes.

Anyway.. good luck

Different people have different mindset, some people need people to help him/her to learn something new. Some people prefer to DIY.

Which type are you? I am DIY type.

I want to ask, if i open a forex live account now, which currency is the suitable time to deposit? GBP? EUR? USD? Which had dropped a lot among this 3 currency? I saw foreign tele-transfer rates now is 3.55 (USD), 4.69 (EUR), 5.24 (GBP)

i would agree with rstusa. babypips is the best tool. personally i am not very much of an ebook reader but after a light reading from babypips and some googling on some indicators, time to put into practice some virtual money and of course Marketiva had USD5 given to us on Live money. Yet again it takes years to really earn money and I don't think it can be learned from just going to workshop.

hi bro...long time no see..sorry i'm bit bz lately...cant even reply ur sms..

read ur story about attending d free seminar..

for me free seminar is normal trend now in malaysia...we can see it in newspaper almost everyday got ppl offering free seminar...not just forex...but other financial services too...

for me thing is simple....as long as it is free...y not we join...just to gain free knowledge....it is just d same like what next view do when they bring in Kathy Lien last time..

i read some of u guys mention about babypips is d best....for me there is nothing d best....d best is how u develop urself to b d best....me also learn something from babypips...n i still looking some other place to learn something new...there is no fullstop in learning...

as for d company dat william mention...i've check it...yes 150usd...n they did mention dat it is basic class...n yet after finish so called 4+1 class sessions...they will give back 100usd deposited into account...which mean class is just 50usd which is more than enuf...

i also found some other company which charge up to 1kusd....but teach only basic...that is scamming for me..

sorry but mean no harm to nobody..

just sharing my opinions..

peace with no war!

cheers! blush.gif

me also.... mine is real account, takes some time to login and the chart didn't appear at all
and I also use streamyx.... doh.gif

I long GJ & UJ....
GJ open at 143.745 TP:149.721 SL:145.745
UJ open at 97.537 TP:100.582 SL:98.535

based on my chart, it's still show in uptrend
THV point buy signal on daily chart and
I got EMA 1 cross over EMA 5 on daily chart as well
Maybe I'm looking wrongly at the chart...

but I'm not sure with FA side
Will it still continue until next Monday? hmm.gif

Forex is an instrument for those who enjoy taking excessive risks. No one's strategy is perfect, including mine. But why i make more money than others is because i change and refine my strategy everyday. If i lose, i have stocks and options to hedge against my losses. I am hardly wrong so far, and its not because i am lucky. That's because i do my homework everyday.

If you dont mind doing forex homework for 10 hours which includes reading and back testing your strategies, forex is for you. If not, you will be a novice trader. Only by experience, skills and money management, one can be a full time trader.

what do u mean use stocks and options to hedge against your losses?

It means that when you profit at forex, you lose at stocks and options and vice versa right?

Isn't this a zero-sum game where both profits and losses will be canceled and balanced out?

Mine also.. Micro live account hehe

I haven't traded this week due to lagging problem.

FXCM says it's Malaysia related issue since a lot of people from Malaysia have complained already.
In fact, it's a streamyx issue. All the streamyx users suffer from it..

The traceroute to fxcm has many timeouts in between

Incorrect.

There are certain stocks and options that have higher beta than the DJIA, SPX. Yesterday DJIA up 0.5%, but my stock went up 25%, which covered my this week losses and plus a very handsome profit.

OF course, it's not an imperfect hedge because i am more bullish in my stocks than i was in EU. Hence, my short on EU was 3 lots, but my stocks which i contra was 4000 - 5000 shares each time i purchased.
