Anybody caught the sudden big drop in GBPUSD just now? It also made EURGBP sudden spike up. Somebody is "breaking the Bank of England" Soros again maybe hehe.

Just look at EURGBP H1. Many short stops were catched by this sudden rally. The rumour of UK joining the EuroZone could be up again.....

i think its time for me into practical
so may i ask which platform or which site do you all prefer and using?

i came across forex.com(of course) , but after i registered, a woman called and try hard to persuade me to open the account with 5k bucks. She emailed me about some infos too, somehow the website on the mail is www.forex001.com, true? She even asked me whether i have any friend that opened an account before, if so, can give her my friend's email address, i asked why, she stated that promotion of 5k account, thus if i open an 5k account before this month then she can get me a free 100 bucks bonus, it's like if me and my friend's accounts both got 5k above, we get 100 bucks bonus?? uh, i'm confused.

uh, is it exactly how the process go through or what? paiseh paiseh, cause i'm still newbie and first experience to register a real account noob mah heh

Exactly NOT the way. Ignore the girl. The girl Might be an affiliate of the broker. If you wan to start an forex account. You can even start with USD1. There is no need to start with USD5000 when you are new.

Go check some well known broker such as oanda.com, ibfx.com, alpari.com, fxopen.com

Hello guys, I'm new to forex also

Been trying out the etoro.com platform and it looks pretty good...good pickup for beginners that is.

I also realize there are Malaysians using it as well.

Anybody here using etoro?

I am using FXCM Micro. Started off with US$1000.

E/J made a crazy surge upward yesterday NY opening time. Caught offguard and losing about $200. Luckily it retraced back and I shorted on th way down. Manage to make some peanut profit.

Same pattern happening now. Going down and might surge up again tonight

I'm playing the demo account...and I'm playing very small at the moment, investing only USD100 in trades.

My trick is that whenever i nail a net profit of about USD5 - USD 10 (calculated after minus the spread), I close the account. So I have to do it plenty of times, but so far it's all accumulated and I won a total of USD 150, with total of 25 trades since Tuesday.

Am I doing it the right way as a beginner? I'm rather a "play safe" guy, and I rather earn slowly with smaller risk, rather than gambling big time...

Every entry must have their TP and SL. Just make sure your Risk to reward ratio is at least 1:1.

250usd. Better start off with microlot. BUt still, the decision is on your hand.

FIrstly try to understand what is difference btw microlot and normal lot.

microlot account enable u to trade 1pip = USD0.01 (minimum)
normal account enable u to trade 1pip = USD 0.10 (minimum)
