QUOTE
Ermazine is a terrible lining material.

It really doesn't make a jot of difference wrt 'breathability', and is so sheer that when it is folded on itself around the seams chances are the folding will 'show through' the single layer of ermazine.

It is also made in weights much lighter than silk or ermazine, and a lot more delicate too, but those are more neutral features I suppose.
Explain.

He probably lost count of his suits.

Added on February 17, 2010, 2:56 pmKotmj, do you know of any place online to buy silk thread for buttonholes besides HwaSeng? Gutermann seems like an excellent choice.

You must have a single suit in your closet. And the color is black. Right?

That's a very good price. Hey, don't forget we are commissioning a 3-piece suit. You sure that would be enough?

Added on February 17, 2010, 9:13 pmI don't think there's shipping to this country.

Jeffrey told me I need 2 spools of 10m silk for a 3-piece. So one card should be just nice.

You need to hang it for a day or two on a hanger for the creases to fall out.

Are your shoulders really that wide and you waist that small? Also, the sleeves seem to me very big, but the length is OK. The trousers need to be shortened by 2-3 inches.

Chest too tight. Lots of pulling at the back.

Hardly as the button stance is very high. I suspect the gaping will be prominent once the button stance is lowered. He has big legs but the jacket is just too lean in the chest and waist, making the suit looks bottom heavy.

Exactly. I'm going to tell MBT to use a different thread instead of my precious silk. Polyester thread should do the job.

I forgot to tell you this. This is where I bought mine.

Lots of colors there. There's even the Fujix Tire silk. I've bought the KNK-150

Wow. A matching POW PS for my tie. Cotton/linen?

By the way, Marion told me that the US importer is no longer importing the KNK-150.

He uses a much finer gimp and thread. How does it compare with ALT's work?
