there's that possibility. which means our moon IS actually unicron, something that would be interesting to see.

however, that wont explain why unicron is there and lying dormant in the first place. unicron devours planets to replenish itself. what the heck is it doing there for the past million of years not doing anything?

I believe it is Unicron from the trailer that I've watched. If you can remember (from Transformer 2: Revenge of the Fallen), Megatron's face, it's tank thread legs were shattered too and let's just say it was badly battered by Optimus Prime (near ending part).

One of the possibilities is that Megatron needs some "repair" and get himself a whole new group of Decepticon bots to inflict terror and to conquer the Universe bits by bits. I think, if Megatron needs help with the "repair", he would exchange/barter his mind and soul (if he has any of it, that is) with Unicron. In return, Megatron in a way, will be Unicron's doppelganger.

I'm not sure if this is going to be what it will be in the next installment of Transformer...but what the heck. It's from the 80s...anything can happen.

they cant build Unicorn...since Devastator was the Highest Resolution Robot they ever CGI in Tranformers 2...imagine Unicron 1million times its size...

resolution got nothing to do with size of the robot. complexity yes, but size no.

problem is, even at high resolution, the devastator impact is less than devastating unfortunately.

I believe in 2nd chance, so let's see what Bay can bring to the big screen for the 3rd Transformer movie.

I like how the trailer canvas turns into his shawl/hood to hide his disfigurements. Its a neat idea.
