Transformers..Transformers Transformers.

I'm not a hater, nor a lover for Michael Bay's films. Personally, I do not watch Transformers series with a skyhigh expectations, just something that I enjoyed. It is more of a 'fun' and 'entertaining' movie rather than movies with deep storylines and powerful characters. As a movie-goer myself, I always watch Transformers with the LOWEST expectations because it is what it is. Bad acting to eye candy (RHW was my favorite) to loud explosions and beautiful skyscrapers being ripped apart.

I don't hate Transformers. I know there is nothing to expect from the series, I always watch it with an open heart because I find it entertaining (explosions and eye candy). The latest one was slightly better because of Mark Wahlberg, not his best but better that Shia crap. I watched the movie last week and paid RM16 for it, thanks TGV. Although it was kinda draggy, I have no complaints.

Although it is pretty predictable, Optimus saves the world, Megatron/Galvatron runs away again..all too easy. But there is one thing about the movie, I find it entertaining. I don't compare this movie to the likes of Raid 2, 12 Years a Slave, Captain Philips or TDK series.

The key is to watch with an open heart. No expectations, just loud explosions and destructions. Michael Bay. Heck, I can't wait for TMNT.

It was free, so I thought, "ok, it's free, I got nothing to lose with watching a free movie". and still came out annoyed at how dumb it was.

Well, anyways, if other people like it, that's their prerogative. It's not my place to tell people what to like or dislike. lol. One man's food is another man's poison after all.

When they have such seriously high budget, one begins to ponder that perhaps the dumbing-down of the script / story was intentional after all. Or it could be that Michael Bay is too self-indulgent (and has a weird preference to keep movies simple and dumb). Perhaps we can relate it to something like what M. Night Shyamalan is known for by most critics - ie: making movies just to please his own self.

On July 1, 2014 there was controversy over the film's North American box office performance. In its debut weekend the film grossed $100,038,000, which is the highest opening for a film in 2014. However, various critics and reviewers have assumed that Paramount inflated the number. Rival Studio claimed that the figure was close to $97 million. Anita Busch from Deadline wrote:

A Hasbro presentation from Vilsco Textiles revealed that a fifth Transformers film was in development and has plans to release in the middle of 2017. Paramount Pictures' Rob Moore stated that there have been talks for a fifth and sixth installment. On June 18, 2014, Paramount Pictures Senior Vice President Edward Ryan promised a fifth Transformers film to be released in 2016. Ryan also predicted that Age of Extinction would be the biggest movie of the season.

I lolled Dinobots's purpose in this movie.... in catoons they were build to fight against Devastator from Constructions...

I disagree with that.

Wheeljack and Ratchet created them and all thanks to Bumblebee's "disobedience", he infomed Wheeljack and Ratchet of the Autobots' failure at the Great Falls. Entailing this event, it was Wheeljack that re-activate the Dinobots back.

I'd would say Hound's holographic images played a major part too and of course with nature's help.
