watched yesterday...

i was waiting when will it end...
too draggy, the plot of the story contradicts with the previous plot, (the Creator thingy),
too much things in one movie, makes it scramble up too much.

CG a bit choppy...some of it....
cheesy dialogue.

even the stupidly awesome Pacific Rim is better.
oh yeah, more recycled Battleship mecha..... the round wheel mecha inside the spaceship.

Rated : 2/5

The script... was just painful.. the needless monologues...

The whole :"look at the stars,, one of them is my soul..."

I was literally taken aback, farrrr back...

I didnt know how to react, it was THAT bad...

It was really a painful movie to watch...

And despite only knowing Bumblebee for a short time, suddenly they called him "Bee" with deep affection... doh.gif

At least the previous 3 were bearable.

Saw so many good movies but flop in making money in b.o. This bloody shyt can make so much money. So many part of the movie make you wanna pull ur hair off. Freaking bimbo had acres of space left, right, front & back but choose to go hide in a car in the center of a fight? Freaking partner died the moment the bimbo bf appear on screen but no one seem to mourn his lost. In all transformers movie the human always want to do the hard work when they could easily just ask 1 freaking autobot to settle it......

Dont know about you but at least this one actually has a lot of robots fighting each other than seeing humans fighting the robots.

Thats probably the only redeeming factor. The story, the acting and so on are still pretty damn terrible. At least more no Shia La Beoff and Megan Fox, those 2 really cant act.

Oh, absence of the parents are also a huge relief.

in TF5, you will see Unicron "resurrect" Galvatron in terms of his mind (ie: bring Galva/Megatron back to his own bad-ass self instead of a ***** as seen in TF4) instead of his physical body.

This way, they still pay homage to the original resurrection of Megatron into Galvatron by Unicron.

You heard it here first!

The craze/fandom;

Girls = Twilight

Boys = Transformers

What's worse is the latter; there is no end to it. Twilight has a finite story.

I know each to his own, but reading the comments on the official FB site of Transformers makes me want to puke (if they are indeed real and not just sarcasm).

Sad really. The box office + fans = Michael Bay will be back for Transformers 5 and beyond. I hope the 'good' ratings are merely for pop-corn fun and not to indicate movie quality. Can't believe one can 'tweak' the box office by having the story & location based in 'China' to entice their local movie goers.

The bigger the 'China', the bigger the box office? A worrisome trend (movie creativity/freedom of writing/along those lines... I'm not against the country).

We might be seeing movie posters with "Filmed in China!" in the future.

I enjoyed AOE.

I don't get it, some people claims they don't watch and boycott the Bay Transformers but they write essay about how sucks the movie was. How you know the movie sucks if you doesn't watched it in the first place?

Before I start, let me first apologize for the following rant. I just need to get it out of my system.

------------------------------ start rant ------------------------------------

Hmm, I'm not sure if you're talking about me, but I did watch TF2, hated it and I only watched TF3 because it was free. I will never pay for another Bayformers ever again until he changes or they change him.

And let's be honest here, from TF2, TF3, the majority of other people's comments here, the comments over the internet, the fact that the writer of this movie actually said, "logic isn't the be all and end all", the fact that Michael Bay openly mocks his critics regularly and boasts about his box office and laughing all the way to the bank ... We all know it's going to continue to be more of the same.

Screw the story. Screw the characters. Screw the script, which consists of a limited vocab of "run run run" "oh no no no". I want even more big bad explosions, even more juvenile jokes (and it's becoming increasingly tasteless with the latest statutory rape joke), more product placement advertising, hot stereotypical babe showing her ass and boobs and bending over, the two leads in sunset, the american flag in the wind, 1 dimensional characters galore, no logic at all, things happening for the sake of setting up action CGI set pieces thet they want to show, then more mind numbing bang bang boom till the end.

Basically he looked at all the criticisms of why his movie sucked and decided to shit on it by putting more of the same shit that everyone was complaining about then telling the world, "Hey, screw you. You don't know what you want. Let me give you this extra serving of shit to prove my point. See? I'm still laughing all the way to the bank."

And now he found a new way to make even more money. Stick an useless chinese actress in it, film it in china, then stick a "filmed in china" sticker on it and automatically, boom. Extra 150 million (equalling america, mind you) in your box office and counting.

He is every capitalist/investor's dream come true. A golden example of how broken this world is that the rich elite rule the world by using a combination of capitalism and the media to dumb down the masses. And we lap it all up gladly.

And oh yeah, remember to watch it in IMAX 3D. Why? Because it's just better that way. shakehead.gif

----------------------- End Rant --------------------------------------

I loved the first Transformers. It was poor in terms of story and characterization, but still passable and forgivable for what was still an entertaining pop corn flick and the chance to see the transformers in live action. Unfortunately, each movie just got progressively worse. And now, I hear even Optimus isn't spared. "I will kill you". rolleyes.gif

Transformers..Transformers Transformers.

I'm not a hater, nor a lover for Michael Bay's films. Personally, I do not watch Transformers series with a skyhigh expectations, just something that I enjoyed. It is more of a 'fun' and 'entertaining' movie rather than movies with deep storylines and powerful characters. As a movie-goer myself, I always watch Transformers with the LOWEST expectations because it is what it is. Bad acting to eye candy (RHW was my favorite) to loud explosions and beautiful skyscrapers being ripped apart.

I don't hate Transformers. I know there is nothing to expect from the series, I always watch it with an open heart because I find it entertaining (explosions and eye candy). The latest one was slightly better because of Mark Wahlberg, not his best but better that Shia crap. I watched the movie last week and paid RM16 for it, thanks TGV. Although it was kinda draggy, I have no complaints.

Although it is pretty predictable, Optimus saves the world, Megatron/Galvatron runs away again..all too easy. But there is one thing about the movie, I find it entertaining. I don't compare this movie to the likes of Raid 2, 12 Years a Slave, Captain Philips or TDK series.

The key is to watch with an open heart. No expectations, just loud explosions and destructions. Michael Bay. Heck, I can't wait for TMNT. tongue.gif
