To be honest, every iteration of transformer, they pretty much changed something.

I am fine with changes but this time round, the way they made dinobots is plain insulting in the movie. A bunch of silent retards that just stomp around then just flee into the jungle after the battle. Is this the knight that Michael Bay have in mind?

What happened to that iconic "Me Grimlock" line from Grimlock?

A transformer without lines isnt a transformer at all in the Movie. But then again Dinobots were created without the ability to speak at first, till they were their brains were upgraded to control their Dinosour 'instincts' from harming their own Autobots.

You're missing the point About Creation why not you tell me why Autobots created Dinobots for anyway? for display?

If Dinobot's creation isnt to challenege any threats Decepticons like Combiners then I wouldnt know why they created these transfomers in the first place.

I don't think the writer of the Transformers movies really cares about anything related to the animated series.

At this point the Transformers movies is becoming like the Resident Evil movies.
They just throw in random characters from the franchise, writes a shitty script that ties them all together and turn them into a movie.

I dont know as different franchise interpret the same character differently but it feels really odd to have a mute Grimlock considering his "Me Grimlock" lines are fairly iconic.

I dont remember much from G1 but I did remember they do talk a bit. Not exactly intelligent bunch. Other franchise like Animated to Cybertron games, they do talk a little bit.

The movie dinobots are pretty ugly too.

Thats true but one thing you should know is, I think even Animated and Prime cartoon does take some creative liberty that stray from the original cartoons. I dont think Hound, Scoponok or Dirft are random characters but they are fairly niche ones.

It is just that the movies writers gives zero shit about decent writing and that becomes a problem for me.

At least they didn not make it like humans vs space robots, like the third and second movie, I think I am ok with it if they just stick with robots beating each other.

Just looked at the BO gross for this movie, and by end of its run its gonna come close or match DOTM's gross, which means the quality of the movie franchise isn't gonna change anytime soon until they run it to the ground.

By the way Humble Books Bundle is having a bundle for Transformers comics, recommended for those wanting a more respectable treatment of the franchise. Includes works of Simon Furman who IMO is one of the best TF writers to date.

Any movie with a decent / good CGI and giant robots is an entertainment for me, forget the storyline, script and whatsover.....gimme robots bashing each other and looking realistic...I am sold!!!

If it does come with a good script and storyline like TDK then it is a plus

How could human tech matches transformers advance tech? so intelligent until capable to duplicate transformers!

Furthermore why transformers suddenly lost their force-field shielding after the 1st movie? human (military) weapons can easily take down transformers!

lastly, why transformers also using human weapon technology like machine gun ammo, rockets, missiles?
what happen to their original alien technology weaponry?
