Here’s the Opening Scene of Transformers 3…

Apparently it’s all the idea of Steven Spielberg. It also reminds me of those teaser trailers for the first “Transformers” movie…

Anyway, I have added a spoiler so if anyone wants to read it, click on it.

Spoiler makes sense. Now, I wonder how it would progress...

Probably the most significant picture (above) of the bunch is confirmation that the purplish car seen driving with the Autobots is not Jolt the Chevy Volt but a blue Mercedes E350. A blue, luxurious but fast car makes me think "Tracks" but really no telling what the name of the character is. With that image we know of five total new Transformers vehicles - the three stunticons (faction unverified but assume Decepticon), the Autobot Mercedes and the Decepticon Chevy Tahoe.

So who is Rose Huntingon-Whiteley playing in Transformers 3?



So we all know that Victoria Secret model/alleged actress Rose Huntington-Whiteley is replacing Megan Fox in TRANSFORMERS 3, but is she really “replacing” her? Meaning, is she the new Mikaela Barnes, pulling a casting switch like when we weren’t supposed to notice when the Fresh Prince got a brand new mom one day in the '90s?

Well IMDB currently lists her as Mikaela, but as it turns out, that’s not the case. I’m not sure if this has been reported on before, but this is the first time I’ve seen confirmation that Huntington-Whitely is playing Carly, who according to lore, eventually becomes Carly Witwicky, Sam’s wife in the Transformers animated series.

I doubt we’ll see any nuptials at the end of this film, although picturing Optimus Prime in a tuxedo made me laugh just now, but it could be an event in a future installment. Don’t pretend like there’s not going to be a TRANSFORMERS 4.

I think I’m most curious as to how they’re going to explain away Mikaela’s disappearance. Hopefully if will be somewhat of an “f*ck you” the way Vin Diesel was casually written out of XXX 2 when he walked (“Xander Cage has been killed in Bora Bora!”). And after you call the director Hitler, I can only imagine what fate awaits your poor character

She got ripped apart by a Decepticon in slow-motion in a deleted scene in "Transformers 2".

I strongly believe Transformers 3 will be better than Transformers 2, and perhaps, it could even be better than the strong first film. Truth to be told they should know what not to do in Transformers 3.

All it takes is a video of an explosion to restore your faith in Transformers 3?

As for Rollbar, as the pictures show, there is no room for doubt with his name being spelled on the vehicle and the Autobot logo on the door. The TB on the license plate is probably a nod to his G1 Throttlebot origins (basically legend class with a pullback motor). The character has since popped up in name only for various Transformers toy lines over the years including as a scout class delivery truck in the Revenge of the Fallen. While a long history as a toy, the character and personality doesn't really exist creating a blank slate for the Bay and company to work with.
