since my dad will be paying for the bulk of payment,i dont think any increase will make him happy..34,998 pon still need convincing samo want to go m-line aa..

looks like ill have to re-negotiate..if i 'lose' ill get a 2nd hand wira ony..

B-line is good enough like M-line also...just some part no paint only
just dn't get N-line...i dn't recommend that
just tell dad...new car is always better than used car...less problem and all under warranty...
after he heard this...sure his mine will be more on new car

My proposal
New Saga ill ask my dad for dpayment 10k which leaves 24,998(old price) and for a 7 year payment would amount to RM378.42/month with 3.88% interest..

first two years will be paid by my dad..and once i grad and get a job ill pay for myself..thats my proposal..but somehow my dad seems reluctant..i dont know,need to negotiate samo..i dont want to sound too demanding but boy is this stressful..

I am owner of B-line manual... my bro just bought it 2 weeks ago with same old price, but he take M-line Auto... currently he very satisfied with it and YET no complain from him...

my personal FC:

rm0.13-0.15/km @rm1.80 shell green

the FC is around that coz i monitor it many times d...

For auto official proton claim is 0.15/km and for manual is 0.13/km

Hey guys, rmbr a few posts back i said i will test how much petrol there was in the tank when the fuel light started to come on? (if not, go back a few pages and read up, then read this lol), well I DID! LOL... at the time i scared i wont make it home cuz not enough fuel O.O

The test:

I was on my way home from JB on North-South Highway, and my sis was driving my car.. so i was in the passenger seat at the back. I fell asleep and when i woke up, i check to see the meter at how fast she was going-->it was abt 140kmph... then i lay back down... BUT then, i realise smtg different... i saw the AMBER LIGHT light on... Were in the middle of the highway, about 35KM to the next stop petrol station with my car running on one blinking bar of petrol... SOOOO... i was thinking.. why is my sister still revving the car at 140 still so ganas on the highway... =.='' (eventually i told her to go at 80kmph scared stranded).

She asked me whether can make it anot.. then i think, i dunno le.. i think can, not sure...so i told her.. "Can make it", since she driving, better dun make her scared. LOL.

So anyway, I remembered wat we talked about the past few days on the reserve tank being how large. So wat better way to test it than NOW! LOL.

Going at 80kmph for the next 30km to the rest area...

The Conclusion:

We arrived at the petrol station with what i was thinking, 2L of petrol left... AND GUESS WAT>>>> SERIOUSLY HAVE A GUESS... let me help u out with these facts
1) Light turned on at abt 35km from stop (going at 80kmph for 30km)
2) I already drove about 310KM@140kmph before that... so total of 345KM (BTW i think my FC is quite high RM0.155/KM)

Shocking isnt it! I can assure u that my tank was full to the brim with an additional fuel being carried around in the tank.



P/S: Light come on = dun wori.. plenty left!!! PECUT ONLY!

well,id say first round of negotiation didnt really succeed..

my dads argument was:
1)if i would get a job after i grad
2)whether id grad on time
3)whether he might be still working by then to pay for the first 2 years(my dad is working on contract and hes ends in april,might be extended another year but not confirmed)
4)

he said for the LMST or any other second hand..an rm8k down payment can be put aside for at least one year of monthly installments..that would settle one year already all safe and sound..compared to a new car,rm8k downpayment and by the next month,ull have to start paying the monthly amount already..he said he would be ok either way but asked me to think properly since it is a very big risk..
1)if my dad doesnt get the contract extension
2)whether id be able to survive paying on my own after i grad.. (im in my final year in my engineering degree)

maybe ill just have to settle for a wira..

since the price already raised...why not waiting till april...see if your dad contact extended...thn it can be decide easier
already so long no car...waiting for 2 more months won't hurt
and downpayment for this car is 4K only

honestly, i also think it is too risky, especially with the current economic. better wait whether your dad got the contract extension or not like mr_alien recommeded

Look at the road now, everywhere BLM.juz like iswara and wira..due to d demand of this specific car, they will indirectly increase the price by adding some stupid yet useful items, such as first aid kit.for the new BLM 2 batch, they included the immobilizer.quite a good thing but the most costing is rm700.the new price is rm1.5k difference from the old price.so where did the left over went?other than that..savvy did not really touch the citizen heart, so in order to clear off the remaining stocks, they have to decrease the price and at the same time, include it into the Proton exchange programme to boost sales. as satria and putra, u can see that both are havig the same design but y putra din go well?its a coupe, where coupe cars are not so welcomed in malaysia.ppl will go for 2 door saloon instead of 2 doors coupe cars. satria is different, so called spoon design.so modification geeks will tend to have it.the 2 door works fine for the design too.its all about the malaysian mind set.Proton is still winding through this challenge.
