Wish to get some advice from you guy.
This outstanding amount shown at my personal AKPK Profile was included interest charge before I enroll AKPK right ?
Example :
Acct 1 : Outstanding RM2,460.77 / Monthly RM40
My AKPK term was 9.5 years
RM40 x 9.12 x 12 = R4,560
RM4,560 - RM2460.77 = RM2,099.23 was interest for overall 9.5 years

If I manage to get some fund to settle, we can ask bank to offer some discount from RM2,460.77 right ?

Btw previous I did saw some post about each Bank officer contact person for AKPK, can someone share the latest list ?

Finally got some special income to settle 30% of my problem, wish to clear asap to save the interest

You have to contact the bank and they will refer you to any nearest branch where an AKPK officer will help you. It's always better to clear the CC debts with the banks if you got some extra cash to spear so you won't be paying hefty interest via AKPK.

Hi all,

I had 20k of personal loan and 30k+ on PTPTN. (already did the penangguhan thingy) The thing is currently I'm jobless (indirectly being laid off aka resigned cry.gif) and one of the bank keep calling me already. 2 months outstanding. Should I go to AKPK for advise? Keep hunting jobs and only waiting answer. Worry that it will affect my CCRIS/CTOS. Thanks.

sorry to hear that you are jobless now.. hope you can find a job very soon.

It is tough when you are jobless...as I know of where akpk rules (if no change) that you need a job in order to apply akpk.
One way i can think of right now for you is that while you are hunting for your actual job, you need to go get any avail job out there regardless what is the job.
Just to buy time in another word.

With the avail job even it is lower or could be just any job, this gets you into the akpk first so that it wont get worst when you know bank's will proceed to having debt collectors or legal stuffs which will boom up the your debt.

One way or another, it will impact your ccris/ctos, but key here is to stay alive.

You can call the akpk hotline for advise and the above is just my 2 cents comments.

Thanks for your advise. Just one more question, am I able to do partial withdrawal using my EPF account to clear some of my debt (personal loan)?

I don't think we can withdraw from EPF for this purpose even for account 2.

Unless you are 50 years old to withdraw the account 2, then that is okay. you may also check with epf as i could be wrong.

I know, but why AKPK as a government agency, allowing this kind of existence? or BNM for this matter?
If I'm already in debt, why would I want to pay more for services I don't need?
If they can get my personal info, why wouldn't they know that I'm not troubled by debt?
They still want to call let me scold? Why are these people so mentally challenged?
Is it because Malaysia have excessive people who cannot manage debt presents these people with this kind of business opportunities?

I think our personal info isn't leaked by AKPK but banks instead.
Even I don't have PL or CC debts, occasionally I received such calls.
Numbers displayed are normally mobile phone numbers.

I think our data were bought from donno who.. the source can be anywhere.

Your questions above, it is valid...but thinking from their (scammer view) they are opportunist.
They just want the take opportunity to take your money.
They will say like "take our service, we will nego much better interest than whoever... the saving is so much x thousand.." they will try whatever they can just for someone to take their bate.

When that someone eager to 'save' $ but could ended up losing it. For them, who cares.. just give me the money willingly..

Don't be angry, I went thru this so i understand what you mean. Calm down, dont F them too, block all those scammers and move on.

You know what, it's not like that only.

Currently bank still charge me for the interest separately from the monthly payment. As I thought the monthly installment amount is inclusive of interest but it's not, bank will additional charge another interest in your monthly statement. So bank collect double interests.

My advise to those planning to settle their debts, better consult banks directly instead of AKPK. If bank really can't help then only the last resort to AKPK. Correct me if I am wrong.

Take my mine as example,

Outstanding = RM10,000
Monthly Installment = RM 150
Period = 86 months

RM150 x 86 = RM12,900 (extra RM2,900 so we thought it's the interest)

then every month you pay bank as the per AKPK instruction RM150 then bank charge you finance charge of example RM20.00 every month.

Did you go back akpk to consult consultant??

As you have the akpk interest rate that banks agreed with akpk for your contract. That's my view
