Hi guys, just curious, negotiation to reduce either principal or interest amount or the interest with the bank directly is still applicable? Is there any guidelines on this?

Looking for alternative before akpk.Plan to pay lumpsum or consolidate for lower monthly installment.

Thank you all in advanced!

P/s: Helping ask for relative. Cash locked in epf. age 54(no fixed income)

Usually the bank is stingy unless you've a valid reasons to request for this such as terminal illness, migrating and etc but you'll need to show evidence.

Good luck

hi all,

can someone here confirmed that if i cleared all the DMP  installment/progam, I had to go through for the 6 months cooling period in order to take next loan from banks?

If yes, why? supposedly I've cleared all my debt, and i should have the eligibility to make borrowings without waiting another 6 months

No need. Once cleared from CCRIS, you can immediately apply new loan.

how long does it take to clear from ccris?

It’ll vary from bank to bank. If want faster, you’ll need to follow up with them regularly and get them to commit on the clearance.

Once settled ,usually have a cool of period of one year before can apply for loan .even after a year, bank also need reconsideration.but I think higher chance of approval by being a guarantor.

Sorry your statement is incorrect. I managed to apply and approved housing loan, credit card and car loan all less than 2 months after settling. Best to apply with banks that you do not have previous debt with and success rate depends on how much you’re earning vs amount loan you’re applying.

I finally got my 392k HL approved too with no CCRIS record, only 80% though (but I guess better than nothing right?)
Already asked them to apply CC too, hope that goes well

it depends on your income level too.

I applied HL 1 day after confirmed cleared from CCRIS for 1.5m or 90% loan and approved. Thereafter for other car loan and CC applications so far no rejection.

I believe bank reject your housing loan due to high DSR ( Debt service ratio), where bank evaluate you can't afford to repay any new loan/credit .... it doesnt relate to AKPK since you mention you have out from the program ..

Don't borrow from banks previously under AKPK

I'm desperate of my bad debts when they call me. They told me it's very difficult to get in akpk approve uf no third party to assist. Then I'm stupidly trapped

You just wasted 10k, that's a lot of money you could've used to settle some of your debt!

As long as everything is cleared in ccris, you can immediately apply
