QUOTE(Kiefer @ Nov 7 2019, 01:28 PM) Maknok, did akpk or bank showed you why after 10 years there are still so much balance? hi bro,Based on akpk n BNM officer, we should be cleared within the agreed time as planned with akpk. kindly check your PM. i have attach excel file as per your request. Actually i got the idea from HSBC bank statement, i more or less follow the formula as per their calculation. oh ya....before i join AKPK program... i have tried to settle fully some of my credit cards debts.. end up overpaid RM400plus for HSBC credit card. chase them at the start (which is 9 year plus back) to offset it paying other AKPK HSBC debts....by phone call...follow up....many times. But sadly no action taken and i left it be......UNTIL it was offset to clear one of HSBC AKPK personal loan debts recently last year. and i notice it by chance thru HSBC bank statement which they email yearly without failed. Yup...it take them 9 years to do automatically. at the Excel file.. Just keyin your Outstanding debts when you 1st start AKPK. keyin the monthly repayment. The rest will change value accordingly and you will know how many years you need to clear. i use that excel and file and it always more or less accurate. Like last month, i projected my UOB debts to finally cleared. check with akpk UOB on my excess payment less than rm50.. AKPK UOB confirmed all settled,... ask me to come down to UOB branch...fill in form to claim refund, then only can issue refund directly to my bank account and will send release letter later on. BUT i had to call twice asking them to update AKPK status instantly. with that excel file, i can know when to clear exactly (1) 1 debts for CIMB (2) 2 debts for HSBC (3) 3 debts for UOB (4) 3 debts for Hong Leong (5) 1 debts for RHB But my others debts need more that 10years (1) Alliance Personal Loan (2) AmBank Credit Card This post has been edited by MakNok: Nov 15 2019, 11:02 AM |

QUOTE(WeiLoonChuak @ Nov 19 2019, 05:27 PM) Oh ya, regarding the question you ask about the blacklist & housing loan, once you enrolled to AKPK, in your CCRIS report it will have record showing the debt is under AKPK program, all your credit card will be terminated by bank and you also no longer can apply for any loan from bank. Congrats bro on your release from AKPK program. However once you settle the debt and obtain the release letter from bank, CCRIS record will be gone within a month (CCRIS record update once a month). Yo ucan only start to apply for loan / credit card once you totally clear from AKPK program. For my case, i have done my full settlement around Jun'19, then i started to apply housing loan during Aug/Sep'19, and bank is approving my application and issue credit card for me as well. Don't play play with credit card ya. |

QUOTE(alexkwlee @ Dec 10 2019, 01:24 PM) yes bro... you are right. my case with HSBC they event didnt send any single statement to me and claim they send to me yearly lol QUOTE(Kiefer @ Dec 10 2019, 01:47 PM) They are very "Chao-Ka" (dirty feet in hokkien). That day in hsbc, asking me to change my address in the system, i told her, i am not here to change address but to settle the account. Then found out that the system showing the correct address (back in 10 years ago when I still lived there) but the letter to me is wrong. see how dirty they are trying to clear the record with my consent. What they did wrong is deviation against the Banking Compliance act. But but for me.....HSBC is ok wor except for one issue.Wahhhh... anyone with HSBC has to be careful. I got HSBC statement yearly and that is where i 1st create the excel file. Only thing is when 9 year +++ back.... had to make multiple visit/call to HSBC to offset my overpaid Rm450 on the cancel credit card. and yet never happen....until this year HSBC Yearly statement, it was deducted finally magically. and the excel file accurately show that i will complete finish paying this year which was few month back. "Chao Ka" in my list is (1) Maybank CC.......finish paying but when i call for excess payment...cakap talak.....TIPU (2) HongLeong Personal Loan Dept....will proceed to pay excess payment....Very Honest BUT Credit Card Dept are bloody shark or lazy asshole..... when tried to claim my excess payment about RM200+++ for Eon CC Claim offset my other HongLeong CC......really asshole. |

QUOTE(lordooom @ Dec 11 2019, 08:59 AM) Thanks for the sharing guys. get the latest CCRIS and meet up with AKPK with documentsUnfortunately I am planning to enroll to the program soon I have some questions: 1. After enrolling, can I still becoming a company director for a new JV? IS there any impact of opening a new company for business? 2. What will be the interest rate after enrolled into akpk as compared to current (12-15%)? 3. Have anyone verified some agents claim that can guaranteed 5-6% interest rate? Thanks again for the sharing. max is 8% interest yearly There is no such thing as agents as AKPK never condone such thing |

QUOTE(alexkwlee @ Dec 11 2019, 11:06 AM) for my case Maybank like very "ho kar" Wah...Maybank so good to you...pay not finish remain about rm1050 suddenly come release letter say i am done payment then they just waive the RM1050 payment Hong Leong CC really shit me and your case is same one HLB CC card finish payment got advance they carry forward to HLB CC... when ask for early settlement got discount bo?? they say 8% already give very good discount liao. so i just continue keep on pay the remain RM908 Actually Maybank was the 1st CC to finish repayment without me realising it until i notice that AKPK can be check online. I only pay RM70 monthly for Maybank... Ya...HongLeong CC dept asshole..... i suspect all CC will not give discount as compare if you having Personal Loan CC only charge 1.5% end of month of your outstanding debt whereas Personal Loan interest are charge in advance. That is why i so lazy to ask for discount and let all my debts to ride out the schedule repayment 10 year program. I use the excel software just to predict accurately which month will be my last repayment.. Next year March 2020 will be my 10 year in AKPK and my Alliance Personal Loan and AMbank CC cannot fully settle by that time. it is because AmBank reporting last outstanding balance higher if compare to CCRIS report at that time. and Alliance Bank ,,,monthly repayment is lower which cannot settle within 10 year. Excel file show it is correct and i will need to visit AKPK soon to see if i can extend the AKPK by a year. hahaha |

QUOTE(bookleaf @ Dec 21 2019, 08:15 PM) After I calm down and rethink, I also think it's not wise to use emergency fund to pay back akpk. Will work out with him to close his akpk in 2 years time. And I hope he has learnt his lesson. Good for you to think wisely.Joining AKPK program is a privilege. Because this is One and Only Chance to have a better financial for once in lifetime. Just max out the 10 year lo... At least....your dad won't have tendency to get more loan..cc for that 10 years... |

QUOTE(zamnrul @ Dec 25 2019, 03:33 PM) hi all i want to ask.i already in AKPK in 5 months like that. But every month CIMB always call and charge late payment and my CCRIS got 2 now every month. And always ask if i quit from AKPK because still showing late charge.i got AMbank and other bank there.but neverĀ call me.only CIMB like this. How i cant complaint they still charging late payment. nothing much you can do about the late charges but make sure you get yearly statement from CIMB.Definitely for the 1st few month..up to a year....CIMB Shark will keep calling for late payment... What you can do...tell them i am on AKPK program now and you tell whoever call you sternly that you will report the undesired calling if they call again. anyway....the call will stop sooner or later it just show that CIMB very very inefficient in updating their status for their non performing account.. You also know that CIMB online banking DO breakdown frequently...right? maybe that is the reason as the system will restore back to previous date and LUCKILY your account always need immediate attention from them... I think it is possible...
I got this colleague who blow his CC limit and refuse to pay. Ya...5K possible grow to 42k.. It happen because didn't pay the minimum monthly. Just let it increase because possible can't pay at that time ..maybe no job....or out of country. Cc is like Ah Long.....once you stop paying the outstanding debt for months..years..... Outstanding debts will snowballed like popcorn. |
