It's rare or even impossible to find any Japanese Denim brand here in Malaysia.

The best place you can find it is at used clothing/2nd hand shop, perhaps.

QUOTE(irmond @ Apr 3 2010, 08:14 AM)
may i ask everyone buy the jeans because of its brand or the quality?.
i got myself a edwin which was on average price..i'm quite happy about it..
I don't need levi's or evisU or nudie or zara jeans just to be happy about it..
even a RM100 or below jeans from petaling street would be cool, but it must be selvedge or rigid or denim.
*
both of them; brand and quality.

why it must be a raw denim? coz raw denim is different from that average jeans which a lot of people have been wearing them...

just to make it simple, a new pair of denim don't have any fading, discoloring, creases, stretching or other things on them.

but those effect will come out when we start to wear it. that's mean we process those effect by ourselves and shape it by our own body...

In the past three days, i've occupied my free time reading The Flat Head 3001 World Tour thread on SuperFuture

This is one of the best denim thread that i've read since I entered this denim world...The tour is about one Flat Head 3001 have been traveled all over the world including US, Australia, Japan, China Thailand and the interesting one is our own country, Malaysia..

During the tour, the participant on each place rockin the 3001 and kept some momento of the tour (picture, log book & etc). Then, the 3001 is send to the next participant and he/she continue the tour...

This tour project have been started a year ago and still on running...You guys should read this amazing story! There are a lot of update/pic on the thread.

Just my 2 cent...

for me it's okay to wear girl jeans... as long as the fit suit your body...

usually, girl cutting have a low rise and small thigh..

i've a fren who wear a girl jeans since he has a slim thigh/leg and he like skinny cut.

owh...

Fyi, I'm not so knowledgeable on the N&F, as I know this brand still new in the denim market but got good reviews from the denim enthusiast out there.

Try read on superfuture.com/styleforum.net about this brand.

Me...I've bought an LVC 1937 from there

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Apr 4 2010, 11:37 PM)
hmm... I have a question about jeans

Been to two shops and all I get is two different answers

SO which one is right:

The more you wash the jeans, the more it will _____

a) shrink
b) expand

hmm.gif
TQ
*
Wash - the jeans will shrink but it's all depend on the type of the denim use...
1) Sanforized - shrink will be minimal and it's hard to differentiate.
2) Unsanforized - shrink will be around an average of 1"- 2" inches in the waist and inseam.

FYI, the jeans will expand/stretch back after wear..

Btw, your argument "the more you wash the jeans, the more it will _____ a) shrink b) expand" is a myth la...

The only thing that I know... more wash more buruk la you pnya jeans. laugh.gif

yes, the last part you're right
especially black jeans

from black become ash grey then become completely grey. sleep.gif
*
yeah...that's what I mean.

btw, you can slow the process by less wash and don't dry them directly under the sunlight...better air dry them

Glad you still rockin it and....... sleep with it. Hahaha, you're true denim head. I am now rockin more to  IH634 and rotate with sam. FYI and think that  u might be interested,  soon IH will release the overdyed indigo and black, end of May.

And i just curious, what jeans are you guys rockin now. hmm.gif
*
hahaha.....no la bro. I'm still a newbie.

I'm jealous with you coz you rockin a IH634 and rotate it with Sammies. Me, once a week when I think I need a rest from the 3Sixteen, I'll wear my Levis 505 (wash version).

But, still got a new pair of RJB66SPBK waiting on the line to be rockin by me.. laugh.gif

How do you  buy your jeans?

I bought them from the market place on styleforum.net and superfuture.com. All of them (LVC 1937, 3Sixteen ST-100 and RJB66SPBK) are sold at bargain price. thumbup.gif

Added on April 8, 2010, 2:34 pmwas supposed to get a pair of APC as well but the price is so much higher compared to the N&F, plus it is actually less expensive to get it online and shipped here rather than to buy from dutil (retail shop in canada)..
