i've seen levis ducks for 300usd++

so 275usd is still ok. but im not buying at that price, there are ppl out there who will though.

mine is 3years old----still going strong, i read bikers even rate the jeans on par with their aramid / kevlar bike jeans

a 3-year heavily abused firehose jeans,,,still strong not even a single tear / tiny puncture

triple-stitched seams everywhere-

gusseted crotch-


reinforced hem-


jeans even has firehose front pockets and waistband


i like it so much i plan to buy another firehose jeans----its a straight fwd jeans w/o bells & whistles made for heavy duty jobs
you got confused between fabric weight and strength

a 13oz denim only weaved with single yarn and warp = weak
a 13oz cotton duck has tighter weave than denim so more abrasion resistant
a 13oz firehose has double threads than ducks = stronger than anything ducks / denims

the cut is weird,,,,,it has generous room at hip & thigh then extremely tapered at knee towards hem-----the cut looks like my ben davis pant that i sent to alter shop to have it tapered---big mistake, i got rid of the pant after only 1 wear
