You paid booking fee for PMM E-Spec today? Can I know how long it takes for you to get the car? Wonder how long is the queue now.

I paid my booking today, my SA said around MARCH can get it, If last week put order maybe can get on FEB or before CNY but now cannot.
only because his showroom might be not too much order if compare to other bigger showroom, so the queue list are shorter than expected, i ask cheras showroom, he told me MAY only can get car. 6month huh?

I'm wondering PMM color will look like when apply to City. I've book the car & getting it by mid Jan before CNY so my agent promised me. Really looking forward to the day I drive it home.
Remember to shoot the picture of your car and show us.... so can enjoy the picture.... haha

that time i just reached the hill top, thats why its higher than usual i suppose, probably still within the 4th gear. the rest are on normal road condition. hmm always wanted to do another test drive at evening...maybe till then i check again

hmm i gave up my first booking...suppose there goes one lucky fler. anyway me too read from autocar jan issue that HM has decided to expand the production rate of city to 1.5k units per month. its good news for consumers to get the car faster...but...i kinda worry about the quality because it has becoming a mass products. good luck!
in my thinking the quality probability might be sucks in assembled, like i said earlier...... even the test drive car assembled quality also not so good already, now honda got so many booking, sure will ask them to assemble faster ma..... then you know malaysian la (i am not saying any races here).... cincai cincai one.... hahaha

but hopefully the honda malaysia can control the quality after see the feedback la.

agreed! i am using my dad's 4th gen city (2006 model). the interior is better than the new city. but, like my uncle said, honda still has good quality overall.
yea.... this is what we think so far, but one of my fren's dad also telling la...... his dad work as a second car field. he said he took a lot of city also having "gear box" problem, then he go to see the new city, and he found that new city also using the same thing as he mention, i don't know how true la....... anyone got problem with the gear box on old city?? isit really same gear box in new city??

Just had a look @ it yesterday. Is it just me or the quality of the car ain't up to Honda standards (comparing against the older City)?
1) Interior door handles very plastic like. Pressing the power window switch gave the cheap like feeling (even a Proton Persona is better)
2) The gaps between the door handle plastic is not neat, pressing it down gave the squeaky plastic sound.
3) Closing the doors did not gave the vacuum sound, it clunks like a proton saga door.
4) The engine is annoyingly loud from the inside.
5) The body of the car, knocking it gave a Proton Saga sound.
Note: This is my rough personal review on the Honda City 2009 E-Spec with Modulo Kit. Priced at almost Rm 90k (even though it is assembled in Melaka, Malaysia), in my humble opinion, this car ain't worth for its new looks and quality. Hope some of my questions or review can be answered to be clarified. No bashing though, just want clarification on those review points. I am not a proton fan nor toyota etc. just want a quality for the priced car.
I think everyone here already know the bad thing about this. i also commented on this bad thing also, haha... but also buying..... maybe "ghost close eye" la.....
