Does all "Official Unlock iPhone" in Malaysia(Maxis/Digi), Singapore (Singtel), Taiwan, New Zealand, Hong Kong, etc..
has any differences on the iPhone in terms of the iPhone features? telco branding/logo etc? or is it 100% the same?

Since iphone 4 is selling for SGD$888 (around RM2080) now.
Do you think I should sell my phone now?

What if we unlock the iPhone ourself, is there anyway we can produce it to "Official Unlock iPhone" ourself?

I read somewhere that AT&T can unlock their iPhone for their customers when their 2 years contracts has over. but not sure is this method of unlocking by AT&T produce the same "Official Unlock", if it's the same, that means there must be a ways to turn any "Official Lock iPhone" to "Official Unlock iPhone"

I wonder what types of unlocking does the carriers use, Hardware Unlocking or Software Unlocking?   or their totally own in-house unlocking tools to do that, that tools to unlock should be leak somehow 

It's a very interesting article    and very scary too, because Apple controls the IMEI database, at anytime they can blacklisted your iPhone, and your phone will becomes locked  , very much like the features they have, stolen iPhone will get locked and erased 

Does Maxis use the same system to unlocked the phone?. On the day we buy the iPhone from Maxis, do Maxis need to open up your iPhone and unlocked it for you before you can start using it? or we can unbox by ourself and activate it in the comfort of your home.

i just went to a maxis outlet yesterday and asked whether i can use a celcom simcard (exec 50) with rm68 unlimited 3g on maxis' iphone 3gs, the dude there told me that he's not sure and maybe i can or i may not. depending on the phone whether its locked or unlocked. i thought all maxis sold iphone 3gs are officially unlocked and i can use any simcard and use 3g without any problems, correct? also, is there any known problem if i use a celcom simcard on a maxis sold iphone 3gs?
