ooo ya ka? let me describe my requirement/needs

I have the budget for iphone 4 16GB/32GB but still considering 4S(budget can be added). I see reviews and comparison. The 4S do have better camera 8MP, dual core proc which open the apps faster, Siri(sure i wont bother with it).

I dont know if the fast performance affects the games experience if i choose ip4, since it still use single core. so is there any large noticeable difference in terms of speed? will ip4 get the next iOS update(iOS 7 for example) next year? seeing that 3GS did still get iOS6. How bout the camera? do i miss a lot from iphone 4s if i choose iphone 4?

I am considering either iphone 4 32GB OR iphone 4s 16GB/32GB. Having a 16GB kinda worries me but I think I'll manage, but then if i dont lose much by choosing iphone 4, i'd rather get the 32GB version of iphone4 since it can save me a lot of money to be used on something else. if i do lose too much, i'd consider ip4s again. but its a lot of money and i'd be in tight budget.

my main concern is how well the dev will support iphone 4 until at least iphone 5s or iphone 6 is released? Am sure 4S will last longer since its dual core and newer but how will iphone 4 be? I just want to jailbreak, customizing it all the time whenever i can even after Apple stop pushing updates to it. Does dev/themers still support it? i mean updating their themes of whatever for the iphone 4?

Here is my usage/type/preferences.

1) I counted on my most listened songs = +/- 2GB
2) Images/videos with my current 8MP shooter = +/- 4GB
3) Games/Apps = I assume to grow to 4GB over time
4) Videos = Not sure if I'm gonna watch videos/movies on this but anyway short videos = +/- 1GB

Is it sufficient for only 16GB?

thank you!

if you plan stay long with your phone, i suggest get minimum iphone 4S
if you just want test test and try try, you can go ahead with iphone 4

do not worry which iphone you get... apple device resale value is much more higher than other smartphones

pick what suits you and go ahead

if you can manage your space very well, keep control song/video/app/movie under control, delete big apps you not using frequently, HD video delete frequently after not seeing it, songs not listening delete it. you can go for 16GB (actually less then 16gb when you get the phone)

if not, go for 32gb for less trouble manage the space or regret later... i seen 16gb and 32gb iDevice space management before... the 16gb is really tight, 0 songs 0 videos, apps so-so.... 32GB used about 20 GB sth so its still ok... not see 64gb space management how, if for me sure use to put more HD videos and apps no need delete so soon (but will become mess later)

imo 16gb is for those who tight on budget yet want iphone or those not tech fancy and only use their phone with little apps on it only and use to call/ text/ email only....

Hi guys! Um, not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here goes.. I'm thinking of buying iPhone 4s, I'm more into social networking than gaming cause I already have an iPad for that, not for listening songs either cause I already have mp3 for that, text/calls/websurfing/emails/occasional camwhoring lol that kind of stuff, okay maybe a game app or two for when I'm bored, so 16gb should be enough, yeah? what do you guys think? This is actually my first time buying an iPhone, so I don't really know anything bout it haha

And uh, how's the network reception thingy for umobile users? Could it be poor? I'm staying mostly around selangor/kl, so that should be fine I guess? Hm. I'm thinking of buying it straight from those premium resellers, but I'm not sure if they still have them, I wanted a black one. I went to garage sales and I do find some sellers selling around or same as RPR but then when people ask for best price they actually got quoted for much higher than that. Weird.

Sorry for such a long post, and if I'm asking in the wrong section, please advice the correct section smile.gif I'd really appreciate any help icon_question.gif

From what you stated in your usage, 16GB should be more than enough.
But who knows? Maybe one day you install more and more games, put more and more multimedia contents (mp3/videos/photos) then space will be limited lor

As for UMobile network reception, no comment since I'm not UMobile user.

If you want to buying it straight, can purchase at Apple Store (MY). Worry-free.

Nahhh. Usually I'll delete a game few seconds after playing it if it is not up to my taste, and multimedia contents hmm I've never fill up much of my 8gb sdcard, only around 2-3gb like that, so yeah I guess it'll probably be more than enough haha laugh.gif

I do want to buy from apple online store and frankly I much prefer that actually but the problem is I'm a student in cyberjaya and lives in hostel, I don't have a credit card and I quite worry if it'll safely arrive into my possession cry.gif don't wanna trouble anyone asking if I could use their credit card, so I pretty much left with either buying on9 and cod or go to those premium resellers and get it from them sad.gif sigh~

Anyway, thanks for the reply! notworthy.gif

I plan to withdraw the money once it is confirmed that there are available stock in hand, so yeah it is kinda dangerous sweat.gif but idk yet. Or maybe i'll just wait and see if there's any seller wants to cod with me haha

what do you mean bank card? as in the ATM card? lol I don't have debit card, high possibility of losing it since i'm a forgetful person sweat.gif idk. I'll just wait till the time is right i guess sad.gif anywho, thanks for the advice cum suggestion! biggrin.gif

depends on the condition, age of the item, and the warranty i think, mostly i think a reasonable price would be around 1200-1400 if still looks new and got warranty of say around 1-2 months hmm.gif

Depends on your usage, I must say, if you're on limited budget, have a second smartphone, and wanna try an iPhone, I say why not.
I'm also getting an iPhone 3GS too smile.gif

As a student, my budget is too limited cry.gif

Hi guys, i still dont know whch is worth to buy.. I'm a student and my budget is only 2k.
Thinking to buy 4s but only got 16 gb. I alrdy got my ipod 4th gen 32gb, and i think 16 gb is too small
For ip4s. Iphone 5 is wayyyyy too xpensive. Did reviews on utube and they say ip5 is same like 4s..

My biggest prob is the price...and their size. I think 16gb is small.. If i add up few hundreds i can get ip5 32gb..

Haih,...im blur ady,.and also i dont like the new look of ip 5.. Its too small and thin.
Do u think 16 gb is enough for me? rclxub.gif

2k budget and you're just a student, wow.

Personally I'd get a 32 or 64gb iPhone 4S 2nd hand. 16gb is too small for me. You decide la..

A student with 2k and with a dilemma on which phone to buy .... wow. Just ask your parents to buy the iPhone 5 for you ... get a plan and it should be within your 2k "budget", at most you top up with your own money.

u might wanna go for 4s 32gb since u said the size is not sufficient.
if u think ip5 design doesnt suit u,u also wont be glad even if u had ip5 right?
of cos u want a phone design that u desire since u will be holding onto it every single day...

if you think that ip5 is too thin and small.. just add a bumper casing to it laugh.gif
anyway for serious matters, 4s and 5 don't really have a significant difference, other than the 16:9 4" display. overall the processor improved a little, battery life more or less the same (some cases 4s better), so think about it.
if you really hate ip5 that much, wait until 5s come out lorh biggrin.gif
