I think the other concern is also about data package. If you're using it without mobile Internet connection then you're just missing all the fun.

Go do some finger shopping at Garage Sales and you can choose a data plan from a telco of your choice.

@ PeeEl

you have my utter respect as you can tolerate answering his questions (in fact you have mine already)

so this is your definition of skinning cats in the kindest method feasible.

Everyone of us were noobs when we learn something new but we learn by reading and doing research. So try to read more and search for answers via google or the threads available here. There's tons of infomation you can get hold and tips and tricks regarding iPhones.

A special thread made for noobs like yourself and others are available below and purposefully made a Common Ask Question post just for new users.

For iPhone Dummies: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/868281

Tips and Tricks: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/687108

So read and keep yourself updated.

Cheers

taken from dictionary.com

noob = newbie = a newcomer or novice, esp. an inexperienced user of the Internet or of computers in general.

spoon fed =

1. fed with a spoon.
2. treated with excessive solicitude; pampered.
3. given no opportunity to act or think for oneself: Having always been spoon-fed, I couldn't meet the challenge of college.

I take your first statement as a compliment. TQ.

What I actually said earlier was.....you can skin a cat in so many ways and that does not necessarily mean that it is in the kindest manner. Give a person some room and; if and when he/she oversteps his/her boundary, we can then embark on relevant actions like ignoring. The opposing party should then know his/her place.

But again, to each his own. Whether you choose to admonish or ignore is very much dependent on one's demeanour. There is no wrong or right in a forum like this. Having said that all of us who post questions should know what to do, prequel to posting, if we are matured enough and that is not in term of age.

If you were to ask me then yes, I prefer SG iPhone than elsewhere. At least it's more convenient if something goes wrong and besides, it is somewhat factory unlocked.
