All Maxis iPhones are official unlocked ones dude, read pinned tread from post to post you will get the answer. All iPhone from Maxis comes with warranty card authorized by Maxis. Boh warranty card meaning no warranty. If your friend has warranty card then you might just check the serial number and compare whether both side numeric numbers the same or not?

QUOTE(S4a @ Nov 3 2010, 12:19 PM)
You can buy an app called: Blue Tint Cleaner for iPhone 4 in AppStore. It can somehow help removes the blue tint from the picture taken by iphone 4. Hope that help you from wasting your time travelling to MC and they will tell you stupid answers and wait for ages to get a replacement. About the yellowish screen... Don't worry, the longer you use your phone, it'll automatically fix by itself. Cheers!

QUOTE(tommyfai @ Nov 3 2010, 12:22 PM)
thanks for the info.. but i don't bother about the blue dot as it happen clearly when u take all white picture. other normal picture it won't happen, so i don't bother about it. about the yellowish, my iphone doesn't have the problem so i guess no problems so far.

QUOTE(selinix @ Nov 3 2010, 12:44 PM)
You are sure with this?

I got 2 friends who used for more than 1 month + the screen had no improvement at all.. They couldn't stand it and sold the phone off.

QUOTE(sposh @ Nov 3 2010, 05:26 PM)
Went to TTDI, they said can't do anything because Apple is still finding the solution.
As for now what can be do is wait for Apple to find a way to solve this.

Sigh... Nothing can be done now but to wait..

I'm about to buy IP4 soon but this problem of the camera is giving me some scare.
Is all the users here affected with this problem?
Or is this problem arised from the recent manufacturing?
I would love to have the camera in good quality if I were to purchase it.
Anyone has clues? unsure.gif

@Vengeance_Mad - I don't have the yellowish problem but the blue dot yes. I think the blue one is a common prob or not a problem at all. iPhone 4 32GB.

The blue dot only visible when you took pic in a 'very' white environment or low light whatever they call it. Not a big deal for me.

that's the thing, it's only noticeable if u take picture of something white. so it's not really a big deal

Btw, the newer batch now got the camera "blue tint" fixed?

98% of the iP4 will have that blue tint issue.
The yellowish display is common, and it'll auto fix by itself after 2-3 weeks of usages with max brightness.
It's caused by the residues not fully dried when the factory glue the layered glass.
Google it and you'll find the cause.

But if you find that there's white spot on the display or yellow/orange patches. Then you need to request for a replacement on the spot.
Enjoy!

Mind to enlighten us where you get the figure from? Now quote your facts and not just pluck it out from thin air or else that will be just another "I think it is....."

I've 5 iP4 16GB and 32GB. All of it have the same issue. With very obvious and less obvious looking (still noticeable).
Go search macrumours forum and apple support forum. You will see most of them have it. The one who says don't have it is either they are not into photography or bull for self comforting. Do take a picture and crank up the saturation in any photo editing software. You'll see it instantly. Hope that is clear enough for you. You don't have to read from else where, but to test it personally to assure it's accurate. Unless you have a smarter way to proof that my facts is wrong. I'm not here to assume. But already knew ppl like your kind will shoot and ask the usual smart question like this all the time. Go ahead and try it. Peace rolleyes.gif
