Thanks maesus, I have hard reset more than 5 times (each in V1.8 and V1.9b) and did not
installed any 3rd party apps or restore contact via PIM, the problem still occur in deletion calls
history and duration (only up to minutes).

Hmmm....so probably I will try davideuck latest rom.

Dont know how true (time bomb) but do u think I should flash Dutty V1.7?
I have download it to my PC.

After revert back to Dutty V1.7, the problem that I had (call history deletion/duration) is
gone.

As much as I like Dutty rom (especially the Calendar), I think I will try davideuck (either V6 or
V-1-HP) rom.

Me too just flashed Davideuck v6. Prefer old manila (but really miss the new calendar, if new calendar in the
v6, it will be perfect).

BTW, how u find v6? Much better than v5?

Hi kylinlee,

I have a problem with my HTC HD where pic (attached to contact) in "People" tab is blur. This started
when I installed new calendar cab (when I restore data back from my backup, it is ok).

I though when I flashed Dutty or Davideuck rom, the problem solved but no, the pic still blur in
people tab (when I view in contact, the pic is perfectly clear), google for this problem but
it seem no one had this problem.

Do you happend to know what cause pic blur in People tab?

I have tried Dutty V1.9b and Davideuck V6. Personally I dont like the new manila too(in Dutty V1.9b and Davideuck
V-1-HP) and worst of all, I hate the notifiction where when I click on it, it just show me the notification (old version we can check data connection, battery level and control volume).

The only thing that I like in Dutty V1.9b and Davideuck V-1-HP is the new Calendar where we can see whole month and the appointment in it.

If the new Calendar include in Davideuck V6, I will never think of going to new manila.

(beside I have bug in Called History where I cannot delete call history - only can clear calls log and Duration is
only up to minutes - weird thing is no one has this issue)

Note: No disrespect to any rom cooking out there, as kylinlee put it, different rom cater for different people, u might like this rom vs other rom.

Hi Lovely_Gal,

I just installed and cool, very easy to use (just two step, select from drop down box and click on "change").
Confirm working fine.

You can try to create one dummy name and key in first name (Danny), Last name (Ng). Then
choose " file as" Ng, Danny. In contact Display, you will see "Ng, Danny".

Run the apps and select "Firstname Middlename Lastname" and click change. You will see the display in
your contact as "Danny Ng"

Hi Kylinlee,

It seems that we have problem only to our HTC HD when we use new manila.

You see, my problem is I cant delete Call History (only can delete using "clear calls log") and
the call duration is only show up to minute. If call lasted 1 minute 33 sec, it only show Duration 0:01.
And if 25 sec call make, it show Duration 0:00.

I checked around and no one has this problem.

So bye bye to New Manila But I like the new calendar

Thanks Spaceman, I thought of that too but after I flashed Davideuck V6, the problem is gone.
I'm so happy with V6, probably once I get bored with V6, I will try to flash again the new
manila (either Dutty V2 or Davideuck V-1-HP, I like the new calendar very much).

If it is for wm6.5, do we need to upgarde the OS to wm6.5 to flash this new rom or this new rom
come with wm6.5, we just flash as normal (without having to upgarde from wm6.1 to wm6.5)?

If not mistaken, PDA expert do sell Momax brand but HTC HD (Diamond one cost RM150) do not have yet.
But from below website, it seem that there is an issue with Momax brand.

To perform a HTC Touch HD hard reset (2 ways to do it)

1) Easy way ;
Start --> Setting -->System, then click on "Clear Storage" , enter "1234", press "yes"

2) A little hard way (for me)
a) With the device turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then briefly press the
POWER button.
b) Continue pressing the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons until you see a message on the screen:
c) Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
d) Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

I bought it at PDA expert (during PC fair, Dec 08 at RM3250, bluetooth and extended 1 year warranty).
So I think PDA expert can get around that price now. Try go to Sunway or MidValley (PDA expert).

BTW, I'm still using Davideuck V6. Am waiting for Davideuck v-2_hp to try this out.
