Me too. I used Davideuck V6, Davideuck V-3_HP, Dutty V2.4 and this afternoon just flashed
Davideuck_V-4_HP_MSVC_ST, one word superb.

Davideuck_V-4_HP_MSVC_ST has Standard Start Menu, Standard Notification Manager
and Program tab, the rest uses new manila.

Give it a try.

Edit: Something wrong with Davideuck V-4_HP link. It deleted from the system.
Please go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...d=1#post3543570

Cheers....

Hi Daneva,

Is Davideuck ones really that good?? i just flashed dutty's 2.5 last night.. no bugs yet so far.. maybe i should try this one instead huh?

btw, did u guys bought any casing or silicon case for your HD? I'm using silicon type, but it makes my HD so thick...
*
Hi menghua84,

Actually depend on personal taste. I tried to give Dutty rom a chance and do flashed and tried
it on my HTC HD. After playing for around 2 - 3 days, I feel that my HD sometime hang or lag.

So I flashed back to Davideuck rom and my HD seems stable. And one thing about Davideuck rom
that I like is, he build in more apps for us.

The latest release Davideuck V-4_HP introduce 4 different versions and I'm sure u will find one
suitable for yr taste. As for me, I like old Start Menu, old notification manager and Progam tab.
So Davideuck_V-4_HP_MSVC_ST is 100% what I wanted.

Cheers...

it could be the UK ROM I had is customized by HTC for certain telco... sad.gif anyway I wouldn't go back to it as I'm now happy with Dutty V3. wink.gif

No, you need USPL or HardSPL-1.56, as stock UK ROM has security check - only phone with UK serial number can be flashed.
*
Hi maesus,

Since HSPL 1.56 (by Olinex) is out, I'm tempted to flash to Dutty V3 (currently I'm using Davideuck V-5 HP).
I heard that Dutty V3 come with Radio 1.13 with complete Rilphone.dll, is it true? If yes, will it overwrite
my current radio ( my radio is also 1.13 but without the rilphone.dll)?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers..

if it has its own radio, yes.

as for rilphone.dll, all radions have them actually, even your current.

Some roms only work with some radios due to rilphone.dll compatibility, which is probably why he included a radio with its own dll to avoid incompatibility issue

Hi Baronic,

Thanks for your reply pal..

Don't be too hype about the rilphone.dll version. If you flashed a new Radio and it worked, it works.
Dutty V3 does NOT come with Radio. It's pure OS ROM. That's the reason Dutty wanted you to flash the UK 1.56 stock ROM first - so you have the new Radio and new SPL, because its OS only compatible with new SPL.

So if you used HSPL 1.56 and flash Dutty V3, your current radio will NOT be overwritten. But since you have 1.13, so it's OK.
*
Hi maesus,

ok, noted, thanks for your reply.

Cheers,

Daneva

Hi nbee/maesus (or whoever using Dutty V3 XT)

I use HD Tweak (and also the regedit) to hide the SIM contact but when I reboot my HD, the SIM contact re-appear.
Do you encountered this?

It is mentioned in the note of HD Tweak that the option is reset when you reset your device.
*
Hi Superman,

Thanks for the reply. U mean it is the bug is HD Tweak? I try on other rom and it work perfectly.

Cheers...

OK< here's the registry tweak:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone
"ShowSim"=dword:0

check that after soft reset, does this registry revert back to "1"? If yes, then there's something in your StartUp apps that cause this.
*
Hi maesus,

Yes, I used the above method too and when I reboot, it reverted to "ShowSim"=dword:1

What cause it ?

You using Duttty V3 XT too right, do u encountered this problem?

Cheers....

Apparently, this is a common problem for those who have flashed Dutty v3.0. I don't have any contacts in my SIM, so I can't confirm.
*
Hi DrWho,

Oh ok, if it's common, then I just wait for his new release to solve this problem.
As for interim solution, I have to hide the SIM contact everytime I reboot.

Cheers,

Danny

or you can delete all your contacts from the SIM  laugh.gif

Yeah one way (work around soulution) but I'm afraid I might corrupt my phone
contacts and I need the backup (but speaking of it, I can always backup to PIM backup)

Thanks.

try that registry tweak, then power off by holding the power button. Then turn on again and see.

I don't know what is causing the registry tweak to revert back to "1", it has to be one of the startup apps/services
*
Tried that, same result, well guess have to wait for next release and test again (without installing any 3rd party apps).

Thanks/

The SD card problem with Dutty... it seems like a sticky bit somewhere inside some apps or registry settings - the SD card is always set as "storage device HDD" rather than normal ActiveSync accessible Storage Card.

I don't have those problems you guys mentioned (SD card, contact vs SIM) with Dutty v3. The problem doesn't seem to be with the ROM, but something else. What apps do you guys install after hard-reset the new ROM?
*
Yes, I can confirmed too that my SD still working fine after flash Dutty V3 XT rom.
