What is the diff between SS Siberia V1 and V2? Sound quality, comfortness.. Or any other recommendations for budget around RM300-RM400?

Btw, where can I find Siberia v2 at KL/Petaling Jaya? Had been searching at LYP and Digital Mall yesterday and all i found is the V1.

V2 offers an improvement in terms of audio quality and comfort (some like the leatherette ear cups). At around the RM400 mark, the other option is the SteelSeries 7H or maybe the ROCCAT Kave at RM339 retail price.

Can someone recommend me an upgrade or downgrade from razer megalodon? The headphone is very comfortable, and after burning in have nice sounds, but I hated the microphone since it is too sensitive.I cant turn on my fan if i want to use the mic because someone on the other side can feel annoyed listening to the unwanted sounds

Whats a good headset with a pretty good Mic as well? Somewhere around the 300-400 range. Will consider something in the 500 range as well.

Was thinking the SteelSeries Siberia V2 or the Razer Piranha or Charachias.

for gaming, any good stereo headset is enough.
for movie, surround sound speakers are way way better.

i still say surround sound headsets are gimmicks tongue.gif

hi guys! I already have a pretty decent set of earphones, but it does not have a microphone attached to it. Any suggestions for a good quality microphone that can be hooked up via USB to my computer? Purposes of the mic will probably be for recording singing, Skyping, and in-game chat!

Any ideas?

By the way, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right thread, so I sincerely apologise if I am hahaha. But yeah, would appreciate the help as I can see there are a lot of experienced headphone and mic users here.

Now that's something rare in Malaysia, so how is it compared to the other reputable brands of the same range?

Overall it's quite comfortable compared to SteelSeries Siberia V1 and Razer Barracuda (Headsets i owned). Not to say very bass, just nice for movies, music and also gaming. This headset is compatible for xbox, ps3 and also pc. But its mainly for console gaming, because it has the chat boost for psn (playstation network) and also xbox live. The mic quality is crystal clear. One draw back for this headset is that you can't use for mp3, cause it needs usb to actually use it.

EDIT: There's another brand call Triton from US. Might be getting 1.
