kave has 0 sound card if nt wrong, just the real 5.1 support. only one i knows have sound card is megalodon and steelseries usb , siberia 1 & 2, 5hv2,7h,

any all rounder headsets?

i got 1,what i think bout this headset(noob opinion).....this my 1st headset anyway so i cant compare w8 others...

1.Good surround 7.1 headphones.
2.good sound quality
3.Comfortable,sometimes i can wear for hours...



Cons
1. Typical Bass,not BOOMY
2.Got ears sweaty if room is hot,no air flow..
3.Quite heavy-maybe i not use to wear headset b4....

megalodon, g35 etc actually are stereo(2.0/2.1) but the sound card make them become virtual 7.1

depend... headset tat sound nice to me might not sound nice to u...
for me, these few gaming headset are nice for game and music/movie:

u can ask the others, most likely they will recommended you to get Audio Technica or Sennheiser

is it easy to tell the difference between Virtual and Real surround sound?

I'm still not sure of getting Siberia V2, Kave or AD700.

I just Miss my G35..Start to consider the new brother G930 but i hate Wireless..

imo, best way to experience surround sound is in a proper sized room with properly placed speakers.
u go to any reputable installer also, and if they see ur room is too small they wont sell u a surround sound system.
those who do only care about the money.

but some ppl has limted space and stupid neighbours , so headphones with soundcards are their best bets.

well im using a Sennheiser PC151 now. i dont find it really boom boom when playing music.

i mean Sennheiser hd5xx series and Sennheiser hd6xx series but the price
pc151 actually is a gaming headset tat focus more on gaming, so the bass wont so "boom boom" ~

A headset is a headphone combined with a microphone

almost all audiophile are hp coz they dun nid a mic... only gamer nid a mic
just buy an extra mic

if really wan build-in mic then >> gaming headset
