help me choose guys:

RAzer Carcharias

VS

Steel Series 5Hv2

I'm currently using roccat Kave 5.1, the sound quality is very good. But it's juz too heavy for me and I wish to get a new one.

I used to own a 5Hv2, i sold it cause i thought it's was going to be collecting dust. I miss 5Hv2!~ </3

So i wanna know if Razer Carcharias is better than 5hv2? The only good thing i know is that it's significantly cheaper than 5Hv2. I wanna know if it's as comfortable and sounds as good as 5hv2. hmm.gif

Thanks! notworthy.gif

roccat kave 5.1 is damn heavy

ur head and neck will hurt if u're not used to it.

I've been using kave for almost 6 months now and my neck still hurts especially during long hours of gaming.

megalodon is virtual 7.1...not 5.1.

one of the cheapest real 5.1 headphones in the market is the zalman, below RM200.
for virtual surround headphones, that day i saw one in ALLIT for RM199 comes with a surround sound module thats shaped like a tube...cant remember what its called.

but imo, all surround headphones / sets / virtual or real are just a waste of money.
a good soundcard + a good stereo set is good enough already and definitely sound better also.

megalodon already come with a sound card module...thats where the extra money is going to.
and kave, u still need to buy a good soundcard, either 5.1 to utilize it, or any other regular stereo ones then it'll just be a waste of money buying kave.

for games, most ppl can tell u that with a stereo set u can get good positioning already.
afterall, gamers have been using stereo sets for how many years now? tongue.gif
but if u want to go surround, better go for 7.1 rather than 5.1, since 7.1 has additional left back and right back.

for music, i havent yet heard a gaming surround sound set sound nice.
thats why megalodon also got a stereo option built-in.
