First off is the adhesive from 3M. This is a removable adhesive similar to the ones you use for clothes hooks behind your doors. Well the scientist at 3M have this spectacular product that allows you to remove the adhesive tape safely without peeling paint. The product I bought came with tiny hooks to secure small cables. Bought it at Tesco for RM10.90.

Next is to apply the adhesive and the hook to my ATH-A700. It's small but I wish it came in black because to he honest, it looks ugly. Luckily I only wear this headphones at home.

And lastly to properly secure the mic. The flexible hook was pushed forward a little and then squeeze it into the 3M hook to properly secure it. This is not a permanent fixture which is why I use removable adhesive, Mic can be removed without removing the 3M adhesive or hook. So basically I made a fixture to fix my mic when I need one. Final product as below.

It ain't pretty but it the mic works and I still get the best audio I can afford currently.
Fixture is stable as long as you have somewhere to hang the headphone like I did.
And in case you're wondering where you can get the cool looking headstand. Its actually a banana holder. I bought it at Daiso for RM5.
Comments and questions are welcomed.
