Are the headsets wit surround so that you can hear footsteps?
How come most of the headsets labeled as stereo such as Logitech Precision™ Gaming Headset?

How much is it may i ask? How do u find it?
Seems pretty awesome. I just checked around and have narrowed down to a few choices now.

Sony XD100, Sony XB300, Logitech Precision Gaming Headset

What do you guys think? Comments?
Any other models that are priced less than RM150?
Thanks

Did you google the review of the headsets?

I did for Logitech and I got very different reviews blink.gif One says the cans are comfortable the other says otherwise. However it seems pretty huge and nice to me.

Actually I'm currently using Sennheiser PC30 but the cans are really small and hurt my ears after prolonged usage. I wish to get a really big and comfortable one that is also decent for gaming.

Anyway, what makes 'gaming' headsets stand out? isit better than audiophile headphones like AudioTechnica within the same price range?

Audiophile suitable for gaming too? So that means I should avoid brands like Razer/Steelseries/Logitech?

Avoid if u have a decent budget. So far for budget rm300, a lot of people using siberia. The new design of siberia not bad and using a better ear pad isnt? Some audiophile headphones might not really suitable for gaming.

i test out philips shp2700 and stun by it smile.gif beat my ATH a500 doh.gif (mine with onboard audio)

they suitable for bass and rock music while my a500 tend to be soft melodic music

gaming i suggest go for philips if on tight budget, worth it imho

dont really like the philips new handle? easily break, the old one like 805 models and shp8900 more durable

strongly deny it.
Until you get a decent dac/amp , you try to hear again the ath-a500
onboard audio is shit really. can't produce any better sound.
even x-fi sound card sucks, which i'm using too smile.gif
