although many deny it, the age-old formula is still proved true..... exclusive rules, third-party ones mind you not no-brainers first/second-party titles which will nvr get ported. even on a platform which relies more on first-party than third-party like the wii.... thumbup.gif

there's always dark side for the wii, hehe..... part of the reason why it's thriving here in asia. tongue.gif

i haven't felt the need to pirate my wii, basically because there aren't enough good games on it. yes u can regard that as a complaint but the same goes with the ps3 for me. laugh.gif

That is one of the main reason Wii is selling like hotcakes, piracy.

i doubt piracy play that big of a role in wii triumph, maybe here in malaysia yes. the bulk of wii owners are supposedly casual gamers, they won't know a thing about hacking consoles and in western countries, you don't have profesionals in-store who will help you do it.

Now now. Lets not start something over here. we're older and wiser than our counterparts before. remember,

oh crap, are you quoting itagaki? i remember he used that phrase when he was bashing kamiya.

just ignore bluffy, someone clearly forgot to tell him he got a blu-ray player since sony is obviously hinging on its bluray capabilites to save their console. doh.gif

jen, u do realise RE4 was originally not made to be played that way? it just so happened the geniuses at Capcom figure out how to make it work with the wii controls.

the best thing u can hope for is a RE5 with wii controls, a spin-off gameof some sorts or worse case, a pared-down RE5. Probably the suits at Capcom was waiting to see how Dead Rising Wii does before greelighting that....

Jenniferjen...u're like me..we both bought the wii first but then migrated to the ps3.  nod.gif Why? Coz i think my reason is the same as u n i need not elaborate further. I still keep the wii n wait for some decent title to my liking comes along again (eg: like RE4, zelda n metroid smile.gif )

me also wii owner before getting a ps3 but unlike u guys, i still like the wii better. both console also i support ori so it's not because wii has access to lanun and i can try more games on it.

ps3? didn't really play it much since mgs4... having been fed on a constant diet of quality 3rd party games on the ps1&2 i simply can't accept sony first-party game strategy. i didn't fookin buy a ps3 to play LBP or blu-ray, i want my games! vmad.gif

like most, i also tend to prefer 3rd party games and so far, the 3rd party support on the wii is improving. afterall they tend to stay/come as exclusive and u certainly can't say the same about most of the other two consoles. whistling.gif

windwaker looks sweet.... love the art direction, it looks like a pixar movie in motion.

i'm starting to appreciated ninty first-party more and more, of course anything good from the third-party dev is also a bonus. laugh.gif
