ur gta ori? i heard dat gta crack is not perfect, a lot of people reporting dis cam shaking problem.

hav 2 patch ur GTA?
coz those programmer really does a bad job wit the pc version of GTA4, some graphic command (coding doesn't execute properly, causing glitches............

put in garage sales, i'm sure got people wanna buy.
wat brand? wat supplier?
negotiate a top up upgrade la..............

u RMA through shop?
gc go overseas is just n excuse shop people giv, in reality, dey dunno wat happen wit the card after dey send it 2 their supplier.

u shud RMA through distro.

gta iv runs badly on ati card.
even 8800gt can pawn 4870................

looks like nvidia's cooler on ati card..............

no wonder gecube reputation in europe is bad................

it would help more if the programmer @ rockstar north code the game better................

dun need to worry bout l4d too much.
steam game engine is very good, high fps, very consistence, perfect for 1st person shooter..............

call him upgrade from 88 to 94 la.........

warranty will void if u use aftermarket cooler..............
but who will know if u swap bck to reference cooler wen u RMA...........

u can just screw the distro & call dem talk to manufacture.
actually u can remove the cooler, for cleaning purposes, but not replace wit 3rd party cooler.
i asked dis to gigabyte b4, i still hav the email.
1 word, excellent.
i'm using twin turbo b4 dis. kept my 4870 idle @ ~40c & load temp after >5 hours of gaming (crysis) nvr go above 45c..................
now my twin turbo just sitting in the box untouched...............i was thinking wanna sell or keep it to c of it fit my future GC.........

seriously, asus TOP bios is good in OC, can OC very high................but my last card died b coz of it..........

4850 is not really suitable to run GTA.
not only GTA run poorly on ATI card, u'll wan @ least 1gb memory...........

depends on setting also............
draw distance use up a lot of those vram.

c the performance on a dual core system.
4870 1gb actually beating out gtx260+ a little bit.
also, note dis/ 4870, single core, runs best @ <1900*1200.
performance drop r more significant once u up the resolution.

on CCC9.x, ATI will do the same multicore optimization dat nvidia did, fingers cross...........
