i dun b lief dis rumor.
4850 & 4870 is identical in terms of everything.
the only thing separating both of dem is ddr3 & ddr5.
basically 4870 is 4850 wit ddr5 & higher clock speed.

read the article on my previous post, or @ least read my summary.
4870 ddr5 is sort of like ATI prototype superweapon, just in case ddr5 is delayed or thing dun work out using ddr5, ddr3 is the backup.
dis explain y 4850 has absolutely same artecture, shader.......etx, only memory is different.

no machine can run it @ absolute highest setting...................
u dun actually need very high 2 enjoy the game...........c'mon, its GTA.

btw, i notice dat higher draw distance will only meks the game looks more ugly.
of coz, u can c further, but graphics in far distance is ugly coz dis game NEEDS ANTI ALIASING!!! (AA).

4850 & 4870 has no different, other den the vram.
tell me, other den clock speed, how does 4850 wit ddr5 different from 4870....................
& DDR5 is 2 times faster den DDR4.

many people also reporting lag in certain part.
even the x360 & ps3 version lag occasionally in certain point.

last time i also experience a bit lag @ certain part on my 4870 512 (oc 850/950) wit 1680x1050 resolution, max setting, 2xAA.
but since i move up to 4870 1gb (stock 750/900), i experience no lag @ all wit 1680x1050 resolution, full AA........................
