i dun understand wat ATI is doing.
if dis is the case, there is no need for RV790.

i edi hav idea on how it will perform as last time, i OC my 4870 to 865 stable.
it will definitely not enough to go against gtx280/285.

i won't compared performance @ stock vs stock, i'll compared max OC vs max OC.

look @ RV790, high voltage, pretty much pre-oced by ATI, i doubt there is much room left for further OC.

for far cry 2, i experience kickout from the game. not always, but when it happens, its very annoying.
another problem is automatic goes to windowed mode which i cannot change bck to full screen.

its known problem for l4d to jump out like dat.
there is few fixes.
1) patch
2) in option, disable multicore rendering, run in windowed mode (no border)

anyway, my far cry 2 problem.
i try alt+tab......really work............. doh.gif ............cha dou..........
updated to 9.2, still dun solve my auto close problem.

not not happy.............
its just dat the driver update has been disappointing.
there is hardly any optimization.

ATI optimized crysis & warhead, wats the use, i wan performance on new games.

looks like my far cry 2 issue getting worst.
the crash (close to window) happens more frequently, especially during game startup..........x_x
b4 dis, on 9.1, the crash is not so often, now it crashes & display driver error. sometime even BSOD.................. doh.gif

but i found a solution which is ran the game in dx9 mode.
ok, no more crashing, but i i go in 2 the game........shit, all tress texture b com blocky.......... doh.gif

try to ply around wit the setting, i find out dat i hav 2 disable AA for the trees to go bck to normal.............. doh.gif
