Hi all, I am not sure where to post this but hope this is the correct place.
I had been planning to get a gaming set for myself but I am stuck choosing between a PC or a PS3.

Basically I like PC cause:
I had more prefered game on the PC than the PS3.
I like using keyboard and mouse over the PS3 controller.

I might not favor PC cause:
Is much expensive than PS3 to get respective equal performance
Scare of performance drop over different games cause i am a noobs in handling PC

I like PS3 cause:
Is cheaper
Is straight-forward, load your games and play

I might dislike it cause:
Less interested games over the PS3 which suit my taste
I dont like the controller

I hope anyone who had both can give me an idea which one you prefer more actually. Kindly share your experience on both selection. ANyone who can help are welcome to drop some comment too.

if you get ps3, just wait till ps4 is released and....

PC, cause you can get a cheaper bargain when it comes to custom built under 2ks.
its easy to get a high end rig under that budget, mine running crysis at super high, no prob.

IF you got the cash, go for PS3
gotta be very picky about games, expensive.

Bro, i think u need pc more. Because pc can do more things than the ps3. And believe me, u will spend more time with the pc.

It's just a wrong place to ask.If you ask at PC section,most of us will say PC.The console section forumer will say PS3 or XBox 360.

PC for me.RTS dont work with game pad.

get urself a gaming pc.

well, i have both, and all i need to say is that my ps3 is collecting dust, sure when i 1st bought it, i played it everyday, but now it's practically a white elephant...so yeah at this moment in time go for a pc

PS3 is good now, but its going to be like 1-2 years before PS4 arrives, by that time, PC already moved on several generations of graphics tech.

go 4 pc,.,..,~ can get ton of game in cheaper price.,,.
blu ray to expensive, still dont have "ehem ehem" one,.,.~

You see ah.. PS3 will last for 2 more years or so.. But the problem is that PS3 and XBOX360 graphics are stagnant. It's quality can't get any higher already. Check any game... Fallout 3 for example. You see that PC graphics far nicer than 360 and PS3. So your PC also can last very long. Just don't set everything to "ultra high" lor.

The only reason I would get a 360 or PS3 is just because of the jRPG and games on them.. *shudders* Must resist temptations XD

Ps4 1-2 years? It took about 8-10 years for a PS3 to come la lar bro....

PC...u can work, on9, do whatsoever man. seriously PC. And it will last long time also.

PC all the way...also depends what kind of game you like first...if you like 2 play arcade type of game like super mario games, then PS3 is better...if you like 2 play fps or rpg or strategy then PC is 4 you

bro, there are 2 reason for you to buy pc.

1. starcraft 2 on the way
2. diablo 3 on the way

personally, i dun mind to own a pc just for these 2 games.

actually its under development if im not mistaken, its just some major hardware/firmware upgrades to the ps3
and to top that, they're already thinking bout ps5 and 6

there were people telling me how playable RTS like C&C:TW was on Xbox360.

but that's just C&C la. RTS and gamepad is a lousy combo.

it will take just about 1 or 2 year the PS3 graphic sure outdated... and become useless
while PC player can upgrade a better graphic card which the graphic are much damm better than Ps3
