QUOTE(cloudstrife07 @ Mar 10 2009, 12:06 AM) eh guys, my friend's psp recently has been flashed to 5.00 m33-6 from 3.71 m33.. No. You do not need to update step by step from 3.71m33 in order to get 5.00M33. It most probably is your stick. Also, you can try to set your CPU speed in either recovery mode or VSH menu to 333mhz. Works great for me it seems the games now suffering from lagginess. what's the cause of this prob?issit due to the mistake of direct flashing to 5.00 without step by step? (e.g 3.71 ->> 5.00 m33 ->> 5.00 m33-6) |

Works great for me hmm, problem miraclously solved.what i did: 1. cpu speed to 333mhz, then down to 300mhz, 266, 200 and lastly default (i was finding the minimum playable speed that the psp wont lag) 2. format memory stick using PSP after that, voila! problem solved |

QUOTE(pingping86 @ Mar 10 2009, 03:53 PM) The speed when using the photofast adaptor actually depends on the class of the microsd u use. If u use 2xclass 6 of course u will feel a difference when compared to using class 2 x2. The brand of the microsd also plays a part. U can actually do a benchmark using blackspeed v2. Anyway if the in-game speed is already normal with no lag then u won't experience any faster speed la. If not playing the game will be like fastforward It's definately a better alternative to Ori-expensive Sony MSPD. |

Recently after upgrading from 4.01 M33 to 5.00 M33-6, occasionally there's hang issue when playing games. Not often but it bugs me.
playing Fifa 08 halfway while one menu to another, it stuck there... after a few seconds, the whole PSP turned off on its own. Anyone faced this issue b4? Hoping it's just the firmware issue rather the hardware. Sweat~~ |

I'm new psp owner here. just bought an old psp phat from my friend. The firmware is 3.40 OE-A. Can i straight away upgrade to latest custom firmware? Or do i have to do something ? anyone mind to provide link to me ? And the psp comes with 2gb memory. Can the psp support higher capacity memory like 8gb? thanks for helping.
