Well, then your cousin's psp isn't bricked i suppose. Does it boot up when a charger is plugged into it?
*
can't even boot it up when charger is plugged in...green light off, only orange light on..
without the charger plugged in, the green light is on though..

both scenario also blank screen.

Does the green light go off after approximately 30 seconds? If it does, then i'm afraid it's bricked. Also, may i know what you last did with it?

Regarding PSP 2000 question,

1. I heard that they burn games into DvD's and played on PSP? Is that true?

Why dot you try yourself??Even the real hacker for PSP3000 not yet announced to release their work,so its seem impossible.

Well, i believe the 'hack' you're talking about is the replacement of the psp3000 CPU to the psp2000 CPU. That, if you ask me, isn't a really wise thing to do. You most probably will just mess up your system. There are no other hacks apart from the GripShift exploit which allows you to run homebrew made using the Sparta SDK.

It's like this.

They burn the ISO image (Which is the dump of a UMD) onto a DVD, and they sell it. Users then buy it, extract the image(s) from the DVD, transfer them to their PSP unit's, and they play it. This, is illegal though.

raynmay, it most probably has a hackable motherboard in it. All you need now is a Pandora's Battery, and you're all set. You might want to meet up with either benwong88 or Lacus who both provide Pandora service for a decent price. smile.gif

Hi, I'm trying to install remotejoy onto my PSP so that I can capture gameplay of my PSP onto my comp. I followed a step by step tutorial on youtube but it doesn't seem to be working. Anyone can help?

I've copied the "ms0:/seplugins/usbhostfs.prx" and "ms0:/seplugins/remotejoy.prx", add the plugins in "ms0:/seplugins/game.txt" and enable them. I've also installed "PSP Tybe B" driver.

But when open "Start-USBHostFS_PC.bat" and "Start-RemoteJoy.bat - for a window" nothing happens. The "Start-USBHostFS_PC.bat" programs read "accepting asnyc connection (4)"

I'm using cfw 371 m33

Do I need to upgrade it? Anybody know what I am doing wrong?

I'll check with my cousin and get back to you. Mine is still working great but I'm just concern if I might have the same problem.

She's just a regular user and she wasn't doing anything before the problem occurs..just playing her usual games on it..and the next thing she knew..it couldn't be ON.

All she practices everytime was she'll completely finish up the battery (the console would off by itself) and she never play it when it's being charged. I still play with mine even if it's charging.

that might be more of a hardware fault than software.

Follow my guide right there. It explains how to install CXMB on a 4.01m33. The installation of it on other firmwares (Using the corresponding CXMB version) should be the same.
