Gangguan talian internet yang dihadapi baru-baru ini, dan yang mana sebelum ini dijangka akan dibaik pulih sebelum menjelang tahun 2009, nampaknya menemui jalan buntu, apabila kabel bawah tanah putus lagi buat kali kedua.

Kabel yang putus sebelum ini, iaitu kabel Sea Me We 4 telah pun siap diperbaiki sepenuhnya pada Disember 25, tetapi masalah dihadapi apabila kabel yang sama putus buat kali kedua, tetapi di kawasan yang lain, iaitu lebih kurang 388 kilometer daripada Alexandria, Mesir.

Kumpulan yang sebelum ini memperbaiki kabel tersebut, terpaksa pulang dan mengambil kabel tambahan untuk memperbaikinya, yang mana kerja membaik-pulih dijangka akan dimulakan pada 31 Disember, dan dijangka talian internet kembali pulih pada 4 atau 5 Januari 2009.

Sebelum ini, kabel tersebut terputus buat pertama kali pada 19 Disember mengakibatkan gangguan hubungan internet antara Eropah dengan Afrika dan Asia.

same2...pay for nothing! I'm on D98, which is more like 'Dial-up 1998'. Except that the dial-up 1998 is much more stable! can r like that? lol.. But I do hope this year Celcom can have some kind of improvement. I give Celcom 3 months! If cannot then I go try others..

Well, there's nothing good to share who able to get a good connections. It all depends on the network provided by ISP (celcom)

Recently Celcom QOS getting worse. I already terminate my 5 month celcom bb last december and switch to EDGE.

With all this problem, the slow speeds, the disconnections, forever upgrading works, don't their advertising lines ("MUKTAMAD. TERPANTAS DI WILAYAH CELCOM" and "TERLUAS. TERPANTAS. TERHEBAT") just get to you?
