For the first time i get connect to HSDPA network but the speed is so disappointed. Need to refresh 2-3 time just to load this page...

BTW, i am currently subscribe the D68 package and i always connect to 3G network in my workplace. So, if i apply for D98 package, can i get the 3.6Mbps speed or just limit to the 384Kbps speed. I am using the E220 modern.

Try set the network on your modem to HSDPA only. This will force your modem to stay in HSDPA network and avoid it'll drop to 3g.

My Celcom Broadband account has been activated today, the speed was good in HSDPA connection when I first connected it but now (after 6pm) it dropped to GPRS connection..may I know how to set the network to HSDPA only?

Thanks in advance. notworthy.gif

If you use mobile connect, try look for settings and set the network to HSDPA smile.gif It depends on the network stability. In my area, I also facing connection dropping to 3G after 6pm

I tried to look for the setting but couldn't find any. Currently I'm using the new package offered by Celcom with new Huawei K3520 with the 'Vodafone' emblem on it. Mobile Partner is pre installed in it.

Go to tools> options> network

under network type tab, select the last one on the drop down list for network type
under band, select the last one

I think the a) option, but overall, it depends on the network stability. even though we force our modem to get hsdpa only, it's still can drop to 3g. smile.gif

If you are not browsing anything or other word yr internet connection is idle, then it may drop to 3G and when you start to browse again, it will jump to HSDPA again.

Hi. there's a question I would like to ask regarding download volume. Lets say when I download a file with a size of 50 mb the volume shown always tend to be twice the volume of the file I download. So for a 50 mb file it will show that I already downloaded 100 mb. Btw, I did not load any webpage or using msn while downloading. So is this how it suppose to work? It is not fair considering how they have a 5gb limit and I can only download up to about 2.5 gb.
